Happy New Year to everyone and I hope you have a great 2013.

I really appreciate all the support I've received and comments on my photography over the past year. I still feel that I'm new to this and have so much to learn so the help, guidance and occasional bit of counselling is welcome!

My ambitions for 2013 are:

To get out with the camera more

To improve the quality of my final work

To start getting some of my images hung on walls, with a push to get some of them exhibited locally

To do a better job than I've done in recent months of staying in touch with the many friends I've made through photography

This is an image of a little harbour in North Wales. It was taken during the wet summer and I was up against it here as the darker clouds you can just see edging into shot on the right were carrying a lot of rain.

Our youth outreach stole this flier from one of the schools they did a presentation at. It would be really funny if it were not being given to impressionable kids. We looked through the so -called facts in the pamplette and the some of the statements were outright lies, not just badly warped stats.

A final prototype of our new Raspberry SAFE in brilliant transparent red. Will include two sets of 4 rubber feet, one set for enclosure base and other set for Raspberry Pi board. VESA mounting plate with 100mm and 75mm spacing sold separately.

"Long Photograph," unpolished as it is, that I put together from the weekend. It's an awesome swing, for the record.

The University of Central Arkansas Police Department sponsored a pair of events to wrap up their "Safe Spring Break" week around alumni circle on Thursday. Students took part in the Fatal Vision Pedal Cart Course, where they rode pedal carts while wearing “drunk goggles.” This informed students about alcohol impairment and discourage driving under the influence. Students also signed red Solo cups as part of the “Know Your Limits” display, which served as a pledge of responsibility on spring break.

"Peter got down very quietly off the wheel-barrow, and started running as fast as he could go, along a straight walk behind some black-currant bushes.

Mr. McGregor caught sight of him at the corner but Peter did not care. He slipped underneath the gate, and was safe at last in the wood outside the garden."
