These are some of the orphans who are being raised at the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust's Nairobi Nursery. The nursery is where the orphaned baby elephants are initially brought to be raised among other orphans as well as by their amazing keepers. They remain in the nursery until they are old enough and ready to move up to one of the Reintegration units where they will eventually return to the wild. The SWT has a wonderful foster program where you can "adopt" an orphan (or two) www.sheldrickwildlifetrust.org/

This year, I have seen more action from these horses at SWT Catcott than from the Red Deer Stags on Exmoor. This little skirmish went on for nearly 15 minutes.
