Third in a sequence of 3 shots showing the flying switch Iowa Traction performs to shuffle the AGP cars onto the CPKS interchange.
With the cars in the clear IATR 50 heads back to AGP for more cars, these moves would be repeated multiple times today to bring up the whole cut. October 16, 2023.

in these passed months, I have try so hard to change his hairstyle from his signature fur hair to a normal heat-resistance because I've found it very troublesome when wearing it with black clothes..... (especially when your doll clothes are mostly in BLACK !)
a lot of wig styles have been tried on him, but they doesn't fit him at all...... *cry*
One of the many great things about short line railroads is that many of them have not replaced these massive station name signs. Class 1 railroads often seem to replace these with smaller signs at either end of the station (or siding). But, not the case here in Holyoke, CO as a westbound manifest actually makes a reverse move to the east by the sign on the main track. If you look beneath the Holyoke sign, you can see the conductor, riding on the rear boxcar, protecting the reverse move back toward the remainder of the train.

This Ten seconds long exposure was taken at 04.15am on a beautiful mist filled Springtime morning in the Golden hour around sunrise (Sunrise was at precisely 05.44am), at an altitude of Twenty fivemetres on Friday 24th April 2020, off Bexley Lane and Rectory Lane within Foots Cray Meadows in Bexley, Kent.
After weeks of self isolation due to the global pandemic that we know as COVID-19 Coronavirus, we are allowed to go out for exercise once per day and keep away from others. A walk in the misty meadows today to taste the fresh air and get my limbs moving again.

Wendy Carlos, ‘Switched-On Bach’, 1968. A million seller from, then, Walter Carlos (who underwent a sex change in 1972). Simple idea: Bach tunes played on the newly invented Moog synth. Kitsch, futuristic, this album helped open the flood gates to electronics in music. She went on to do the soundtrack for the original ‘Tron’ movie.
The Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT (350D) uses this switch to tell it that an external flash unit is mounted. If the switch is depressed, the camera will not pop up the onboard flash and will not fire the onboard flash even if it is popped up.

Shortly after 239 had passed, off in the distance, NS 3270 was working it's way along the tracks which snake out of Berkeley Yard and along Eva Ave. Since I was still over south of Banshee so this was the best I could do. In the foreground are the mainline tracks for the St. Louis District, and in-between is a surprisingly empty of traffic McDonnell Blvd.

CNR 992 switches the barge at Ellice Pt yard. Does anyone know if the sawmill on the right was a rail served customer and who their name was? 27 June 1974. Photograph taken by Glenn Migneault.
A fair proportion of the wiring of the switch panel for the new tram layout is now done. As soon as I have the time, it will be installed in the layout cabinet and wired to the track.
The picture shows front and rear views of the panel.
This lone engine, UP 5266, was tied onto what the Z-OAG2-23 picked up. Now the Sparks switch crew is using it to shuffle cars around.
Seen here at the East end of Sparks Yard, the lone enigne holds still just long enough to make its prescence known in this photo before streaking back to a cut of cars.

Personally I can't wait to put all the stuff together. Before it will be possible there is still a lot of work to be done.
Next step: diesel fuel station.
A pair of Pennsylvania Railroad swithcers, No. 94, PRR class A5s, an 0-4-0 locomotive built in 1917 by the Pennsy's Juniata Shops in Altoona, Pennsylvania and No. 1670, PRR class B6sb, an 0-6-0 locomotive, was built at the Juniata shops in 1916.
Original photo was taken at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania in the early 1980's using a 35mm Honeywell Pentax Spotmatic II, Super-Takumar 1:1.4/50mm prime lens, Kodak print film.
