Stagecoach in South Wales Alexander PS-bodied Volvo B10Ms 20825 and 20826 were allocated to Merthyr Tydfil depot in May 2011, and are seen parked at what was then the depot's Brecon outstation at Bishop's Meadow with a collection of Solos on Spring Bank Holiday Sunday.
They were regular performers on Service 39 (Brecon-Talgarth-Hay-on-Wye-Hereford) and because the outstation site had its own fuel supply and the use of a power wash facility at the neighbouring Texaco garage, only needed to visit the home depot for routine maintenance.
20825 was sold to Chepstow Classic Buses in December 2013 and used primarily for fruit pickers transport in Cornwall:

20826 sustained severe accident damage within a few months and was sold to Abba Scrap of Dowlais in December 2011, being replaced by 20685 from the West fleet.

Sct. Johannes Kirke (The church of Saint John) were build in 1955.
The tower is 40 meters high, and as only one of two churchtowers in the world, it had also the function as watertower, as the church is located at the highest point in Herning.
Under a renovation in 2018, the watertower function were closed, due to cheaper and more reliable pump solutions.
Not a very good photo, technically, but I wanted to share this rainbow with you! It was just getting dark, but there was a strange, bright tint to the sky. So Tim and I took a walk to open the front door and we saw a rainbow over the houses on the opposite side of the road!

After wearing the black gown on my birthday I decided to change into this, including doing some photos outside which I felt came out really well. Disney costumes are less a part of my dress-up than they used to be as have expanded and developed my feminine wardrobe and regular look but this was one of the first things I bought for myself as a girl and I loved the contrast to the previous outfit.

Mrs Smilemoon wore her Sunday jeans today, so called because of their holey status. I just thought the little rosebuds were too cute to pass up. I'm sure that when she sees that I've posted this to Flickr, I will cease to be alive, so if I go a long time without any more photos, please come look for my body.
Last Sunday with friends - my wife and I visited Lavender Farms near Toronto and it was lovely. This is a rare personal picture on my photostream.

great Sunday morning brunch after the night before for the 26 that stayed over in our house and in 3 tents in the vegetable garden!
I used the smaller of the 2 paella pans to cook breakfast - actually a very efficient and practical way to cook a load of eggs simultaneously while I kept the other stuff warm in the oven

There's no better time to observe and photograph the birds of South Florida than in the midst of spring when they are also in the midst of courtship, mating, nesting, and raising their young. Their breeding plumage comes out in full swing, their behaviors are so animated and eye-catching, and they become quite territorial.
I just love it when the birds take flight and move about their habitat, intermingling with the others along the way. This guy had just finished his courtship dance above his nest, then decided to fly down to the wetland waters for some foraging and water. In my case, it would have been for some cooling down from the heat. LOL. When they stretch out those wings, their feathers are quite impressive to see ... and of course, quite beautiful.
Well, it's Sunday, so I hope that everyone out there is taking a moment to stretch out their own wings and enjoying their own habitat as well. :-)
