Here Jojo is looking her best in a new French Connection dress as she was being treated to Sunday Lunch and perhaps had this photo been taken as we left I might just have looked that bit fatter as I love help yourself carverys. I've spelt it that way but it is also written as carveries so don't tick me off please.
Believe it or not, these little blossoms that I call Sunday bells are really the
flowers from one of my dwarf hosta plants! I love it for its unique stripes.
This Sunday I hope we think about peace. Peace in our own homes, peace in our towns, and peace in a very troubled world. Maybe this rose will bring peace to your heart.

From a recent, Sunday visit to the lake. The water was calm and the clouds were simply beautiful.

On Sunday 30/3/2025, 1112s (Aurizon fuel shunt) is seen crossing the Port River (Port Adelaide) with 2214 hauling 4 tanks from Birkenhead, moments away from arriving at Gillman yard.

20 minutes into its journey, the 1256 Poole to York crosses the River Avon at Christchurch while an angler casts off into the still waters.
The mid-1990s were a period of stability for 'inter-regionals ', as what are now known as Cross Country trains were then known. On the Bournemouth line trains started from Poole (with the exception of one train per day on Summer Saturdays from Weymouth) and were operated by either HSTs or class 47/8s with air conditioned mark 2 coaches.
I shot this Daisy in the golden rays of yesterday's sunset. The green bokeh background is my grapevine that is slowly turning from a ripe green to an autumn gold.

Took my camera with me on my walk today. It was cold but bright. Caught this snowmobiler and his daughter racing across the old Nottawa school yard.
After many months of doldrums Steffi has had a flourish of uncharacteristic productivity this weekend. Will it continue?
Have a wonderful Sunday. I am finally home and don't go back to work until Thursday. Things should be back to normal for me for a while. Will be catching up with all of you between unpacking and laundry.
