The local that runs on the Halton Sub on weekdays that oddly enough ran on this particular Sunday back in the middle of August, here we have CN GP40-2LW 9639 & GP38-2 4717 leading a Sunday afternoon CN L559 west towards Brampton at MP5 Halton Sub with 1 intermodal car and 8 tankers, about an hour before a heavy tropical thunderstorm erupted in the Greater Toronto Area.
By 1845 the Church of England was established in their new place of worship. Voluntary contributions had been received to build a fine Sunday School House.
The designer was Everard James Blackburn who later went on to survey Melbourne and was founder of that city’s water supply (the Tasmanian links with the founding of Melbourne are very deep). A suburb of Melbourne is named after him. But Dr William Valentine (whom we met yesterday with his fine house "The Grange") also figures in this story too.
You see Dr Valentine was one of the major drivers in getting this building constructed, and as Geoff Ritchie from "On the Convict Trail" points out (thanks Geoff!), the building bears a strong resemblance to the primary school in Martock, Somerset, England where Dr Valentine was born. ontheconvicttrail.blogspot.com/2015/05/this-building-was-...
Although serving as a Sunday School, from 1851 until a new school was built in 1878, it acted as the town's day school as well.

Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark - Sunday Morning
Marble knew the postman didn't deliver on Sunday, but she figured the dust bunnies could. To her surprise, when she opened up her mailbox, Phillip was sitting there unharmed. Strangely, he had a smile on his face but his little bear lips remained tightly shut. At that moment, she didn't care to ask. She was just glad to have her Phillip back safe. Word to the wise: feed your dust bunnies for if they are left hungry, they may take a hostage.

Pennsylvania | Zelienople-Harmony | Kaufman Tavern
Eggs Benedict on crab cakes with ham.
Sunday brunch at the historic Kaufman Tavern is a treat. The old Kaufman Hotel in Zelienople was tragically gutted by fire several years ago. It was fully restored and now houses a popular tavern and restaurant on the main floor with professional offices on the upper floors.
