Pics of the 4th of July storm that spit out tornadoes around Bosler. These are taken on the east end of town.
The 2nd day of the Nor'easter continues. This afternoon featured wild intervals of sunshine and heavy bands of snow. At brief moments, the snow fell in the sunlight, glittering down...

11 August 2014, Aberystwyth, Wales. A big tide at dusk together with waves stirred-up by the tail-end of ex-hurricane Bertha are an unwelcome reminder of the devastating winter storms which hit the Ceredigion coast in January
This is my view to the left of my room in a dust storm.
We woke up to a dust storm this morning. Lovely, isn't it?
This is not like a traditional "sand storm" that you might have seen photos of ~ a wall of sand coming at you. This is a dust storm ~ just enough to irk you & make you cough ike crazy!
Think about it. What is glass made out of? Sand. Yep. Can you imagine what this is doing to our lungs? This dust storm should move out in a day or two, hopefully.
Feel free to check out the rest of the photos from this dust storm!
a convoy of electric linemen passes by after restoring power to the street. entire neighborhoods were without power some for over 24 hrs after a violent thunderstorm passed through taking down trees, wires and telephone poles.
This road is the main road into Telford from Bridgenorth. Half of it was 3ft deep and the one edge is 1inch deep. For an hour that I was there the traffic was gonig head-2-head to get through. Some cars were forcing others into the deep water and in 30mins 2 cars died, me and a local helped push them to safety. I called the police to report the issues and they came and made it one way.

On January 13, 2007, a hurricane hit the west coast of Norway. Overnight the storm winds reached eastern Norway, including my home county Vestfold - where hundreds of trees got uprooted, blocking roads and railways and prompting the police to advice people to stay indoors well into the afternoon on Sunday.

This past weekend was filled with lots of thunderstorms, which Addie's not particularly fond of. She gets a little nervous but stands at the window, watching the rain fall. This isn't the greatest shot but it shows things from her perspective. I had a hard time in this light.
Not as ominous as the storm on August 6, 2008 but still impressive. About 4 minutes after this, the rain was so heavy you wouldn't see across the street.
