The rock they use in this area is shining like stars, in nighttime or when sun shines on the gravel roads it looks quite special.
Larvikitt is the Norwegian name, larvikite is the English name and comes from the town called Larvik in Norway.
We’ve been told space
is like two dark lips colliding
like science fiction
it outlines a small cosmos
where fear hides in a glow
where negative space
becomes a place for wishing
a constellation of hazy tunes
of faint sharp vowels
a glossary of meteors
a telescope to god
a cold bright white
maybe distance damages us
maybe Jupiter
will suddenly surprise us
with a notion of holiness
but instead an old planet
takes over all the space
and we are reminded
of the traces of fire
in our gaze
defining our infidelities

Nightsky at our camping site at Iskere. Trekking through the Haramosh Valley, Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan
With a tip of the cap to Vincent van Gogh, this is the same house as the previous shot. Different angle, plus much longer exposure, minus spooky factor, plus cosmic awesomeness and fun effects equals this.
Thanks for looking!
End of summer we were camping near Cedar Breaks Utah. The night sky was amazing. The Milky Way stretched across the sky surrounded by millions of stars. I love sitting out in the wilderness stargazing.

Went to Kinky Event today and picked up the Revolution Gown from Madame Noir. Then of course had to do a pic as a fun little break from making makeup, nails, and shapes.
On a relatively clear and still night at Milson's Passage on the Hawkesbury River got a glimpse of the Milky Way.

Starry Eyes
~Angely Diamond~
beautiful dark blue eyes
orbs of stars n night sky
looking from the outside in
your depths carry much more soul
than any other thing
you are no where near empty
like the vulgar say
its the numinous feeling
that no one can look away
beautiful dark blue eyes
orbs of stars n night sky
without you
no one would know the truth
you hold inside

This was taken in my backyard in Southwest, CT. 35 minute exposure. Clouds were moving in, but it still came out good! View in Lightbox.
