Hong Kong, Victoria Harbour from the Star Ferry.
The Star Ferry (Chinese: 天星小輪) is a passenger ferry service operator across Victoria Harbour, between Hong Kong Island and Kowloon. The service is operated by the Star Ferry Company, which was founded in 1888 as the Kowloon Ferry Company, and which adopted its present name in 1898. It is a major tourist attraction, with great views of the skyline.
Also known as the Torx drive. These are various sizes of torx drives from T15 up to T40. Shot for Macro Mondays "Stars" theme.

The adult males are difficult to find. During the migration they are the first to leave on their road South. I felt fortunate to catch this one zipping around the backyard the last of August.
Another variation of the unit and 'Star-Flower', I uploaded yesterday (see first comment box).
Each of these red-white origami Star-Flowers is made out of 8 units, but arranged differently.
The size of one unit is now 4x4cm, red kami paper.
Final size star is 9x9cm.
I really don't know anymore on what occasion I folded it and if there are any diagrams. Sorry for that.

Nachdem der Star sich ausgiebig geputzt hatte, erfolgte ein kräftiges Schütteln, dass diese wunderbare Frisur zum Vorschein brachte.Euch allen einen schönen Sonntag.
My first attempt in trying to capture start trails. It was time consuming and required lot of patience to not touch my phone. But the end result was good. Shot on my One Plus 7 Pro
There was no way I was going to break into my Christmas box already!
Thank goodness I found this stencil which I can use to make stars in paper. I placed it on a tile which also has stars on it. I made the blue pop with an Orton Effect.
A single star is watching my steps by going upstairs.

– what a beautiful name!
But it's actually none other than the familiar squill.
Siberian squill (Scilla siberica)
This early bloomer blooms from February to April and tolerates colder temperatures well. It's hardy, spreads quickly, and forms dense, vibrant carpets of flowers.
Nickende Sternhyazinthe, was für ein schöner Name.
Dahinter verbirgt sich aber kein anderes Blümchen, als unser bekanntes Blausternchen.
Sibirische Blaustern (Scilla siberica)
