The We're Here! gang is looking for seeds today. I was inspired by Sheila's lupine image today.
And here is the Monty Python lupine sketch: youtu.be/cXDOR6hogQk

So I've slowly been working on a mini-amusement park; And this is kinda a quick test for part of it, what do you think?
Taken on Wall Street. A man standing in front of a news stand in the dark of night. Used for day 44 of my project for old photo day.
Hoober Stand is a 30-metre-high (98 ft) tower and Grade II* listed building on a ridge in Wentworth, South Yorkshire in northern England. It was designed by Henry Flitcroft for the Whig aristocrat Thomas Watson-Wentworth, Earl of Malton (later the 1st Marquess of Rockingham) to commemorate the quashing of the 1745 Jacobite rebellion. It lies close to his country seat Wentworth Woodhouse. Its site is approximately 157 metres (515 ft) above sea level and from the top there are long-distance views on a clear day. Hoober Stand is one of several follies in and around Wentworth Woodhouse park; the others include Needle's Eye and Keppel's Column.

In a world of pink... dressed all in black! I am still a babygirl!
Remember to always stand out, never blend in or conform to set standards or anything else. ALWAYS be yourself!
Face the light, stand strong and have faith.
I was recently going through, cleaning up my hard drive when I found this photo unprocessed. I had processed a very similar image so I about to flag this to be deleted. I think this is a good reason to keep your images for a while. This image, I think now is a substantially better composition and I’m glad I was paying attention.
Ik dacht, lekker even naar het strand om mn hoofd leeg te waaien... Zie ik dit!

Sunrise from one morning last week, I took several images that morning some with the little stopper on and some without, I must say that the images without were amazing, the sea was alive and more than a little ferocious with the breaking waves running up the beach. With this image the sea ran around my tripod and feet but did not unsettle my tripod surprisingly. Back to more Cornwall images in a couple of days but tomorrow I have something completely different for me .
This is high tide at Lancing beach with quite a large swell running .
A degrading block of flats stands on it's own in Portsmouth. I thought this was very apt at the moment. Alot of us in the UK feel alone currently but we must stick together if we are to rebuild the UK and make it work.

The huge thing is a water tank.We know that what is important for human being. that's why i put my caption to “Stand still life" when it's supplys water for us to keep alive. So it is a life.
During a recent visit to the arboretum, we noticed a lone Canada Goose sitting in the back of a very large field where the horses, which are kept by an equestrian center, are allowed to roam and forage.
As we were leaving, I spotted one of the horses walking in the direction of that goose. It stood its ground, never moving as the horse walked right behind it.
The wildflowers growing in the field are so tall, if there is a nest that goose is sitting on, we could not see it. But why else would a goose just sit there if not guarding its nest? Better yet, why build a nest there in the first place?
I'm still amazed that horse did not trample the goose, even accidentally, because if you look closely, it's wearing a headcover.

I based my stand on Leslie's (Bogostick) because it looked like a very simple version. I considered going for two paralel bars on top, so I could have dolls in different places of my sceneries but I did not want to cause even more trouble to my grandfather who agreed to make the stand for me :)
Here, Sybil is not only being held by the thick fishing line around her neck but she also has a bit of UHU adhesive putty under her shoe, so she doesn't sway.
Since I always take photos in this place, this is the only position I can use the stand in but it can, obviously, be used in different angles to allow the positioning of the dolls in different places of the sets!
Interestingly enough, I found this easier to use with Sybil (on the photo, Dynamite Girl Holland) than I did with Brigitte (Poppy Parker Baby It's You), but I can't tell exactly why at the moment, I'll have to try again ^^
I found this effective for Blythe dolls and Pullip as well! And Momoko dolls simple don't require a stand, god bless them!
