Cheese burger with lots of yummy layers for the Looking Close... On Friday challenge: "Food With Layers."
Another shot of Gog and Magog - this time from a higher vantage point.
"Located about one kilometre east of the Twelve Apostles Visitor Facility are the Gibson Steps, a set of steps from a car park which lead down to Gibson Beach which provides access, at beach level, to the Twelve Apostles. The original steps were carved into the rock by Hugh Gibson, an early owner of Glenample Homestead. They have been improved over the years and offer a sea level view of the "stacks" that make up the Twelve Apostles. The two that are viewable from the beach are known as Gog and Magog. Fishing is possible from the beach but it is unwise to go swimming."
Rose, stack of 8 images. Now that we are confined to our home it is time to do some long due experimenting.

The "stacked" bubbles of Abraham Lake are indeed interesting, especially when they form stacks with interesting shapes like you see here. We had a fun time finding cool bubbles like these to photograph!

Taken during blue hour with a Fujifilm X-T5, 8mm f/3.5 lens, this isolated storm put on a good lightning show. I stacked 5x6s frames and lightened in Photoshop. The star trail above the thunderstorm reveals the 5 frames.

South Stack Lighthouse, located on a small islet, Ynys Lawd, off the coast of Anglesey in Wales, is a historic lighthouse built in 1809. It was built by Trinity House to mark the treacherous rocks below and guide ships on the Dublin-Holyhead-Liverpool route. Known for its dramatic location on steep cliffs, it is accessible via a staircase of 400 steps. For a fee visitors can tour the former engine room and climb to the top of the lighthouse. South Stack is a wonderful place to watch thousands of breeding seabirds including guillemots, razorbills and puffins.
On this morning of May 11, 2019, there seemed to be stack trains all over the place in Salt Lake City. Here is another westbound/Northbound coming through downtown.

I spotted these chairs in a hangar at Krugersdorp Aerodrome and thought they made an interesting composition. I also pushed the sliders around a bit more than I normally do to create this effect.
SWELL Sculpture Festival. 'Stacked Chairs' by Alexander Piperides (Qld)
Stacked Chairs is an assembly of found chairs, portraying a column like structure. Although each chair has its own individual memory and function, they have become dependent on one another; the failure of one chair could result in the failure of the whole system. I would like to think of this similar to our current lives; where we are all at some stage or another, in the midst of various responsibilities, whether intentional or not. (the artist)
South Stack Lighthouse, the iconic view for anyone who goes to South Stack, I keep saying I have taken enough, but then think well one more...

The top of the stack of Mitchell Station is seen on the right. In the distance on the left is the stack of the Elrama Power Plant, scheduled to be demolished later this year.
No.1 Croydon office block (formerly called NLA Tower, but also nicknamed the 50p building because of its multi-sided shape).
Designed in a brutalist style by architect Richard Seifert & Partners and completed in 1970.
Another job that needs to be done in little world. The tiny little stackers gotta lift up thos buttons. At least their new job seems to be in some nice atmosphere :)

Elegug Stacks – The immense Elegug Stacks catching the encroaching shadows cast by the early evening sunshine on a summer's day.
Also known as Stack Rocks, it's hard to really appreciate the scale of these two dramatic carboniferous limestone sea pillars from the cliff edge, even though they are some 150 feet high. Located on the on the dramatic and remote south west tip of Wales and are accessible only at certain times across the MOD Castlemartin military range.
The calm summer conditions and long exposure really drew out the colours of this breathtaking coastal scene.

Loaded and empty T-Bird trains sit single file outside of the Thunderdome. The 2112 will take the loaded T-Bird south after a stack train off of the DWP clears the interlocking. Both the C40s and ancient ore cars are gone from this operation.
I waited at this spot on the Chattooga River until dark hoping a colorful sunset would emerge but the sky just turned gray instead, This image was made about 1/2 hour before sunset when the setting sun illuminated the underside of the clouds, casting a golden light on the water. I got a nice 2 hour hike in the dark back to my truck, but a lovely day on the river, so worth it.
I know this is similar to the previous shot from this location, however I thought it might be of interest as a comparison. This shot has been put together using a free star stacking program called Sequator, it is the first time I have used it and I am quite impressed. The other shot is done from a single image and it is interesting to see the difference in noise.
This was only stacked using 4 images as I was not shooting with the program in mind but it will quite happily stack 20 images.
