Some planters I made today for a north-facing position ... ferns, Primroses and Polyanthus, Ajuga, Ophiopogon, and Sedums. Neither of these pots were actually broken, so they aren't really Crack Pots ... I just stacked them up for effect.

Some stacked stones I found in an industrial park near where I work. There is a sculpture symposium near by.

Canon EF 100mm f2.8 Macro is not an easy lens. The shallow DoF on this lens makes it hard to frame shots. At this time I am not sure if I have received a soft lens.

I've never tried the stacking technique to achieve low noise long exposure shots. This is 20 x 2" exposures at f2.8 on a 28mm (around 35mm equiv on D100).

Cheated by putting half of the stacked layers in a group and masking them out to allow for a "shorter" exposure on the city to maintain detail and not blowing it out while retaining the blue in the sky as well as the airplane trails.

Gullemots on one of the Stacks at Stack Rocks Pembrokeshire UK. Quite tightly packed yet they take off and land safely.
