Built in 1952 at a cost of $78 million, she still holds the Blue Riband as the fastest passenger liner to cross the Atlantic.
She was taken out of service in 1969 and has been resting at Pier 82 in South Philadelphia since 1996.
In 2010 she was saved from scrapping by the SS United States Conservancy when they purchased the ship for $3 million from NCL, despite a $5.9 million bid from the scrapper.

SS Azra has begun to list and sink following a collision with HMCS SAGUENAY (I). The Panamanian freighter cut through the destroyer's stern, setting off several of the destroyers depth charges. This is the stokers end of the boilers. Two stokers per four hour shift loading 8-12 shovelfuls of coal per boiler every 20 minutes plus one water tender made up the crew for the four boilers.
The Keewatin is now tied up at her original berth in Port McNicoll, Ontario, her home port from 1912 until she was retired from service in 1965. She is operated as a charitable foundation by the Friends of the Keewatin.

The S.S. Norisle was the first passenger steamship built in Canada after World War II. The name "Norisle" is derived from "NOR", a contraction of the northern region of Lake Huron and "ISLE", referring to Manitoulin Island.
SS Normadic is a steamship of the White Star Line, launched on 25 April 1911 in Belfast. She was built as a tender to the liners RMS Olympic and RMS Titanic, and is the last remaining vessel built for the White Star Line still afloat.
In the fading light, Brunel's ss Great Britain, restored now it's pennants fluttering. It's moored next to the vistor's centre, at a dry dock in Bristol.
SS daphne was a steam ship, launched on the clyde on July 3rd 1883. The ship capsized and sunk within minutes of launch with ~200 workers onboard who were finishing the ships internal fittings. 124 of these workers died.
This is one of two memorials to the disaster. The second is in Elder park in Govan.
