This is my new Spring collection of necklaces, ready to go on Etsy and into Galleries. Influenced by blue skies, spring flowers and pastel easter eggs :)
Every spring, melting snow becomes temporary ponds in the fields near Ovid, Idaho. Occasionally a windless morning will create perfect reflections of the Bear River Range of the Wasatch mountains. In a couple of months there will be hay growing here. This was taken in 2006 and scanned from a slide as part of my project to archive my old photos.
The Squirrel's are back and looking in all of the flower pot's for bulb's to eat or looking for their nut's they've buried.

After crawling from his Winter mud home, this painted turtle came out to smell Spring.
(double image day)
I hope that everyone is having a great Tuesday and I hope you don't mind, but I wanted to share a little of Mother Nature's colour & glory.
500mm telephoto /macro @ 2.5 meters
I use the lens for novelty shots because it's a non electronics lens and mounts to my camera with a home made adapted lens mount. (plastic body cap)
It doesn't do to bad and it's just a little something to play with and make work.
Maybe if someone fills my Summer wish list in my profile, I'll get a bunch of new lenses. (Any lotto winners yet?)
as always

Kallithea Springs are located at the bay of Kallithea, just 9km from the City of Rhodes. Known since antiquity for their therapeutic properties, the thermal springs of Kallithea were utilized by the Italians, in the early 20th century, being very popular and attracting visitors from all over the world. Nowadays the renovated, majestic premises of Kallithea Springs completely restored and tastefully refurbished are welcoming once again hundreds of visitors per day, being one of the most popular attractions on the island of Rhodes.

Running Springs is a set of two springs along the Suwannee River between Mayo and Branford. It's easily one of the best sights along the spring-packed river.
Zelenci Springs is a nature reserve near the town of Kranjska Gora, in the far northwestern corner of Slovenia. It is the source of the Sava Dolinka River. At Zelenci Springs, water from underground Nadiža Creek (originating in the Planica Valley) re-emerges through the porous bottom of a 2 m deep lake, whose waters are noted for their deep, brilliant green. The spring and its surrounding area are named after this colour (Zelenci is a deadjectival plural noun from Slovene zelen 'green'.)

Quote is from T S Eliot's poem, Four Quartets - Burnt Norton
"Cause you know,
I don't do sadness
Not even a little bit.
Just don't need it in my life
Don't want any part of it.
I don't do sadness,
Hey, I've done my time
Looking back on it all
Man, it blows my mind,
I don't do sadness
So been there.
Don't do sadness
Just don't care."
