I feel so lazy, can't do a thing
My mind is hazy just like a smoke ring
I think of nothing but lying in the hay
I got the spring fever blues
The sun is shining right in my room
I feel like I was the man in the moon
I'm riding high on the clouds way above us
I got the spring fever blues
I wish that spring were back again
To satisfy my lazy yen
I miss those days of dreaming
If birds were nestlin' in the trees
And leaves were swayin' with the breeze
My heart would keep on beaming, who-o-oh
I hope the south wind blows past my door
And leaves me someone whom I can adore
I think of nothing but love and romance
I've got the spring fever blues, I mean
I've got the spring fever blues
An Early Bumblebee (Bombus pratorum) (I think) feeding on nectar from a blueberry flower cup… in a bumblebee’s style. London, England, UK
take that... you cold cold winter! Woohoo...it's almost the end of it here in southern hemisphere.
..back to the type of photo that got me into the world of photography.. flower shot :)
The composition is probably a bit "too noisy". Well, the daisy will be "very noisy" indeed when spring arrives in 17 days.
In a city like Portland with so many flowering trees to enjoy, big leaf maples might go unnoticed. This would be a mistake. While many know them for their namesake 'big maple leaves', the Spring buds and flowers are simply spectacular. The window is pretty short as the buds bloom and new leaves emerge quite quickly, but if you pass by one but sure to stop and have a look.
The flowers that you see weighing down the left side are also apparently edible. You can use them in a host of ways, but sprinkling a salad or soup with tiny flowers or battering and frying whole cluster seem to be among the most popular preparations.
This trio of buds was found alongside a balcony outside the building I work in, probably about 20 feet off the ground. Perfect height for some close up photos and to harvest a few for the Spring menu.

@the county park near me.....and yes, I did sit down to enjoy the beautiful spring for a few minutes. :-))

Finally! Fresh flowers from the garden to bring Spring indoors!
evening falls over the forest pond, two friends have a chat on the dock.../Un momento de primavera, un lago del bosque al caer la tarde, dos amigas conversan en el muelle…/En vårstund, kvällen faller över en tjärn i Uppland, två kompisar sitter på badbryggan och pratar...
The sun may have disappeared for a few days but life caries on regardless. Here are some lovely little young cones adorning a fir tree. I love the little buds of new fir along the branches, easy to see how they are going to turn out. Taken at Paradise Wood, Little Wittenham.

Scenes of spring- yep, there are indeed lots of dandelion pictures out there, but despite the havoc these seeds wreak on our lawns, they sure are pretty. This one was particularly nice as the top seeds had flown off, allowing a view into the center and the radial arms of the soon to be shed seeds.
Delonix regia is the main indication of King of the seasons, Spring. This flower has become available now. So, spring has come in Bangladesh.

Japanese garden Mogusa-en
A Japanese garden with nostalgic Japanese sceneries and vegetation of the seasons. Especially the 800 plum trees blooming between February and March is gorgeous, and it is famous as popular spot for plum blossoms.

Dogwood Spring is one of five springs available for swimming at Ginnie Springs, a campground located outside of High Springs, FL. With its multitude of swimming holes right along the Sante Fe River, those looking for water activities have numerous options available. Overnight visitors have the ability to camp directly alongside the springs, which is certainly a benefit to campers though perhaps a detriment to those who want pure scenic quality.
Though Ginnie Springs on its own is a virtual spring mecca, it is but one location amongst many spring-based attractions just along the Sante Fe River, which runs northwest of Gainesville. Even more can be found along the Suwannee River, which takes in the Sante Fe not too distant from Ginnie Springs.
My little Stormie wanted to celebrate spring equinox the right way! So he decided to find the next best thing after Stonehenge, a stone circle located in a small town named Stanstead, Canada! :o)
Click here for more information about this stone circle.
