Antelope Canyon was formed by the erosion of Navajo Sandstone due to flash flooding and other sub-aerial processes. Rainwater runs into the extensive basin above the slot canyon sections, picking up speed and sand as it rushes into the narrow passageways. Over time the passageways eroded away, deepening the corridors and smoothing hard edges to form characteristic "flowing" shapes. (May 2019)

Hello my amazing Flickr friends !
Today is a red day at Color my World Daily and we celebrate Spirals at Macro Monday. As you can see, I had to make my own personal spiral. I used a green wire and a straw but unfortunately, having fat fingers made my spiral a little bit uneven. In the end, after trying to redo my spiral several times (and failing miserably each time), I kept my first spiral for this picture. In my opinion, when you go down your own personal life spiral, it is an uneven and bumpy road… I think that my not so perfect spiral is an accurate representation. And sometimes even the smallest vortex can create the biggest tornado !
Have a beautiful day !! Mucho, mucho amor for you all !!

Hello amazing Flickr People !!
Today is a red day at Color my World daily Group and we celebrate spirals at Macro Mondays.
This is a hand made paper red spiral. I did it all by myself instead of folding laundry or baking cookies for my adorable kids… And I must admit it took me some time to get it the way I wanted (and also I’m not very talented with paper and spirals and scissors…so I had a few gin & tonics to motivated myself for this picture). I guess the laundry will have to wait for another day… Well that is the spiral of life ;-) !
Happy CMWD and happy MM to all participants !!
Have a beautiful day and see you later !

For Macro Mondays 'spiral'
It's got to be my favourite sort of spiral :) This is quite a crop - but I think that's allowed?
A small shell found on a holiday in South Africa. This shell is smaller than an euro coin. It seems to be the shell of a small squid species.
