If I'm crazy, I'm on my own
If I'm waitin', it's on my throne
If I sound lazy, just ignore my tone
'Cause I'm always gonna answer when you call my phone

Taken at Mopire City.
Another from the front garden where the spiders spin webs in the hedge and a morning dew forms over it. It's one of my favourite things about autumn! Have a fantastic weekend, everybody! :)
Taken in the morning on my favourite Baaken's valley walk, striving to get artistic and paint with light, like all of the folk I follow can do in my perception. I feel like a girl with too much lipstick on, trying too hard to grow my artistic self, I know I'd look silly in the mirror but I know I'll be noticed.

Got the idea to build a pig from part 93092 - "Minifigure, Utensil Basket" - to make the snout. Making the coat was quite a different building experience from what I'm used to! Sculpting large uniform shapes can get tricky without the proper pieces to fit in perfectly with each other, but I'm happy with the result and the character's immense proportions.
Thought a lot about Pink Floyd's "Pigs (Three Different Ones)" from their Animals album, as well as Wilson Fisk / Kingpin from Into the Spiderverse to get the cartoony stern evil billionaire look.
This isn't a true Sinister Six (that I know of), but it is the six Spider-Man villains featured in the movie Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The versions of the characters seen here are mostly based off of their movie appearances. This was mostly inspired by the headpiece (and torso) on Prowler, which I got from a new Monkie Kid set bought yesterday (80018) which isn't supposed to be released until like March! The little 90° clips I used for Scorpion's legs are also from the set, and they are fixed at 90°.

My last Entry for the RogueOlympics Round 8. This weeks theme "Upside down" inspired me to build this scene from "Spider Man - a new universe"
Yeah - I was going to include Doc Ock in yesterday's Spider-Man post, then I made too many versions and I decided to make a separate post, as I do. Also, I'm going to list these below, but they're definitely just inspired by these sources - I know none are 100% accurate.

on other action figure bodies from my parts bins. miles' body was way too big and i bought gwen's head parted out.
miles wears the bottom half of the outfit he came with but his shirt is commissioned from www.etsy.com/shop/MirageRiverCreations
gwen wears a BCS shirt, WHC platform sneakers, and unknown jeans
Came up with this lot the other night, first time I've actually uploaded a Marvel figbarf in a while. So, despite the title, these aren't really based on the film. Mainly cos I still haven't seen it, mainly cos I wanted a bigger number than those that appeared in the film. So, onto the Spider-men (and Gwen) (L to R)
Iron Spider - He was a last minute addition, so he's not quite up to the same standard as the others. Decided to armour the legs a bit, though I should probably have gone for something a little less chunky. Happy with his pose though. Actually, I'm happy with everyones poses. Actually had to research that, which I wouldn't normally do.
Spider-man Noir - Pretty sure this is the look everyone uses for him, nothing too fancy here. Struggled a bit with his pose, so his leg sticks out a bit.
Spider-man (Miles Morales) - One of my favourite ones. Just added a little more red to his arms and legs, which you can't see due to the pose. Hank Pym Antmans if you're interested.
Spider-man - The main one here. Again, nothing all that fancy, just the homecoming suit with the Amazing Spider-mans head, just for the wider eyes.
Spider-Gwen - Pretty happy with her look. Gave her boots instead of Ballet pumps, just cos I liked the colour consistency. Lilac (?) hands too, just to match.
Spider-man 2099 - Literally nothing special about him, he's exactly the same as the set one. really wasn't a lot more to do with him.
Venom Spider-man - Literally just there to even out the left side. Pretty basic, quite pleased with how the Venom head came out.
So, we've been into the Spiderverse. Wasn't that fun?. So, that's all for now, as always please lemme know what you think :D
Or should I say...into the purist-verse. No way I'm painting that much webbing anytime soon, but I really wanted to do this edit because I was blown away by the film.
Absolutely cannot believe how great it wound up being, and I seriously encourage everyone to make some time this holiday season to go see this incredible celebration of Spider-Man. The whole film truly inspires you to wear the mask.
Original version of this edit had the new Spider-Man 2099 thrown in because I actually edited this in a bit of a rush and thought I didn't have another black fedora to work with in Photoshop (turns out I did). So this is exclusive to Flickr! until I post it elsewhere

Hey. *Miles face*
It's been a minute! I was gonna save this post for later when I had other things to post, but my other things aren't photographed yet and I felt like getting something posted today. Just some different versions of Miles Morales using the new Miles parts.

As with some of the other chalk art, I chose this one over the one I shot with the Canon because the smartphone camera seemed to convey the colors much better, closer to what the artist had in mind. A lot of the primary colors seem to kick out better on the phone.
here we have King T'challa, Ms deVille, Perspicacia the Witch, Aunt May, ArtSchool!Miles, and Constantine.
these review posts are not even all the hybrids and mods i did in 2020... leaving out a few that i don't have much idea of their personality yet.
Really liked Kingpin's design in the movie. Saw Kaiju Dan's amazing Kingpin build and was inspired to make my own. Link to his photo here:

I decided to brick-build the head, mainly because it matched up well with the tan colored hands. I also felt putting a minifig head would feel out of proportion with the body.
I'm really happy with the fact that I incorporated a bowtie into the build, I think it adds a lot to the figure. I know there isn't supposed to be a flower on Kingpin's suit, but I added it there for some variation in color. I think it works pretty well :)
What do you guys think? I'm thinking of changing this build to make it more human-proportioned, like how Kingpin is in the comics. Comments are, as always, very much appreciated! :D
