I found an interesting store called Omnis recently, and decided to play around with the gorgeous mechanical arms that they had, which led to me pillaging R2's current offerings at Collabor88 and coming up with a vaguely dystopian cyberpunk, vaguely Blade Runner, vaguely just cool flashy robo-future outfit that I really enjoy standing around in. A special nod also should go to Naberius for this fascinating spinal-themed collar.

A supercell thunderstorm on the Kansas Plains appears to explode in all directions right before our eyes in May of this year. We were able to stay in position and photograph this storm for over 4 hours. We watched it become a supercell, we watched the supercell die. One of my favorite chase days to date.
The palm house at Kew Gardens which reminded me of a 70's space ship, hence the title of the photograph.
Good Morning, I haven't posted one of this iconic attraction in a long time. Here is an edit of Space Ship Earth in its colorful glory. I love closing it out at Epcot because they aren't very pushy about getting you out after park close. Hope you enjoy and thanks for looking.

Up to round 6 in the RogueOlympics now and our build prompt was “Impulse”. I decided to base my entry on the ever impulsive Calvin as one of his alter-egos Spaceman Spiff from the comics Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson. The scene uses exactly 101 parts and Spiff does fit in his spaceship.

Today's photo makes use of my stars technique I shared yesterday. Although I haven't posted anything new in a while I have been doing a bit of editing. One of the things I've particularly been focusing on lately are the highlights in my photos. I'm not a fan of the sharp transitions from midtones to highlights so I've been working on some techniques to help smooth those out. If you pay close attention to the water I think you'll see see how I gradated this out to get a smoother look. It's subtle, but every little improvement counts. Finally, in case you missed it yesterday, you can see how to make the stars pop in your photos at www.thetimethespace.com/making-stars-pop/
