My first Micro-Space creations, the space Pirates.

Built at about the same time as Tekka Croe made his, it just took me a while to get mine posted.

There is still some space left in Haiti for those seeking solitude.

Have a nice weekend!

From 1984 originally, this is my Neo Classic Space take on the set 6824 Space Dart I. It features landing gear, and lots of translucent bricks, just like the original. Enjoy, and let me know what you think!

This image reminded me of films I've seen where someone comes out of cryogenic freezing/suspended animation after thousands of years and the glass is all fogged up and dirty. Something is stirring inside and about to come out. Fun times :)

Cassiopeia

Credit: Giuseppe Donatiello

Cassiopeia is a constellation located in the northern sky and from latitudes above 34°N it is visible year-round. At magnitude 2,2, Alpha Cassiopeiae (Schedar), is generally the brightest star, though it is occasionally outshone by the variable Gamma Cassiopeiae (called Navi or Tsih), which has reached magnitude 1,6. A rich part of the Milky Way runs through Cassiopeia, with some open clusters and nebulae.

This fun print was picked up at the m modern gallery in Palm Springs. The artist is Chris Reccardi, animator (Samurai Jack), musician and pop artist.

It's pretty big...almost 2' x 3' and hangs in the entryway so as to make the real positive first impression that says, "hey, we're serious folks, into serious art..." Yeah, right.

It does lend itself well to the mid-century modern sensibilities and furnishings that exist in the living room and most of the downstairs.

I love going to SPAC when it's empty. I love to think of all the very different events that have occurred here… the New York City Ballet, Dave Matthews, Phish, my graduation, my mom's graduation, my grandparents' graduations...

Photos of the Cayman coming soon...

Fascinating: living in the most complex machine that mankind has built - ever.

Well.... I want to thank everyone for their input on what to upload this morning.... I appreciate it!

I can't really say that I am all that excited over this image. Its a bit minimal, but a bit busy.

I like it.... I don't. I hope that all of you do.

I would like to add that I appreciate everything that everyone has to say. The comments are nice, as is peoples true thoughts on my images.

I enjoy hearing how images work, and don't work for people. The elements that catch peoples eye in a good way, and in a "not so good" way.

Whatever these images do for you, I still appreciate the feedback.... Thank you.

The last of my backlog of ships from an old collab. IIRC this was the first one I built for it.

This shot was a Falcon 9 launch with a batch of 21 satellites for the Starlink mega-constellation-SpaceX's project for space-based internet communication system.
