✦ Now featuring: SPACE MANATEE by Halina Heron
manatee, plz.
I would have liked to have been able to be the one to design this but I just did the render of it. This is a rendered version of Murdoch17s modification to a creation by a Eurobricks user named Sunnyx, a Star Craft "Battlecruiser", in July 2010. Murdoch17 Classic Space - Dreadnought Class Battle Cruiser
Were does one begin, were does one start a tale…. A tale that rains into our faraway galaxies. A story that deserves to be told. Well lets press the button to unwind the legend that is The Thievery Corpration, namely Corsair X, make no mistake his more fearless conquests have all but been whispered from Edenou to Outter Gomonia. His swordsmanship is known to be several lights flames ahead of any pirate currently scrapping the Underworld Trade Routes. His dramatic capturing abroad his fleet of Scimitar's which scout for Rumla (an ancient blend of spices mixed with powerful spirits, banned in 2167), highly priced drink which trades for over 500 Gali's in todays volatile markets. Another addition to striking fortunes is capturing high profile flyers that have handsome ransom's who are willing to pay for freedom. It is understood that there is only one demand made, no other and its this tactic that concerns the (SPFD) Space Police Frontier Department.
Certain times they can offer you protection if you crossing over the Helltonuim Belt, but due to loosing 4 Scimitar's in recent years, they don't always take the jobs, its not CX area, so the Framicka prize any chance for conflict with C.X. and his band of men. The inhabitants of Deviod- dye known that if C.X. men visit its over, the region lives in fear for reprise. The power & ambition C.X. has shown outstrip's any competition, let it be known here that none have his savage unattached attacks, many Chieftains have surrcome to short coming's that has threatened thousands and dethroned Kings, powerful players are none the wiser to usher his warnings mean 'End Game'. Remarkably the men that surround him are sworn to the cause and in recent times they go under the name 'The Thievery Corporation'. This has expanded operation's beyond the Valzeel Rim, and finding common Freebooter's to partake is an on going mission. Many greats have partnered the Corsair X, but many have pasted, only one has been truly faithful and its Bo'sun Hairo. His second in command plan's has charged the fleet to great victories and also seen in many years of creating Crew's that work well together, his a people's people who's skills that go beyond more than just second in command. His worth his weight in Rumla.
Having such insight on board has only added to the onslaught terror that is C.X. Modern piracy is filled with many players as you've read in this circles but how many tales are true? It's an old story from yesteryears, were one's "mouth writes cheque's the body cant cash". encountering C.X. is unforgettable, unmissable and a darn death wish marooned to the outskirts of our Galaxies. All intentions are executed and no mercy ever escapes the clutches, the hold that is C.X and The Thievery Corporation. Remember this and pass it on, that the Legend lives and breathes for many skies ahead of us and our times.

Maybe not my best work, but I got to use that cool windscreen (which only came out five years ago (._.) ). Has retractable landing gear. Nice to make something that doesn't have white, black, or yellow in it.

This is not a medieval torture device, but the ESA - European Space Agency/CNES Grasp experiment to understand how humans adapt their hand-eye coordination in space. Scientists think we use gravity to judge how much to extend our arm to grab an object (for example), and us being in space is a great way to find out! We use a VR headset to simulate tasks and the equipment monitors movement and timing for researchers on Earth to look at and take conclusions.

Credit where credit is due - the DL version of Space Mountain beats the WDW version in almost every way. WDW has a better queue for most of it (and no outdoor stairs!), but DL's final queue area is great. The two-seat cars are nicer and the whole ride feels better. This was just after a complete overhaul of the ride. WDW's 2009 rehab didn't put it on top, unfortunately.
Hi everyone -- I came across this image as part of something else I was working on today, and I thought it was too good not to share. An image of the backlit International Space Station, taken in March of 2009. Enjoy!

Emblems were created to fill multiple roles. Light Starfighters, personal run-abouts, and Explorien Ambassador ships used to travel short distances ship to ship.
So yeah, Exploriens get almost no love and they are fairly kick ass and deserve some. I'll see what I can come up with! This is yellow to look like the Exploriens' emblem and the rest of my Exploriens stuff will most likely be true to the original colors.
My interpretation of Spectron, inspired by R.R. Sluggers Blacktron 1.5 again -video which introduced me to this prototype theme.
I did also build all of the gradiants the wrong way round, whoopsie

From 1984 originally, this is my Neo Classic Space take on the set 6824 Space Dart I. It features landing gear, and lots of translucent bricks, just like the original. Enjoy, and let me know what you think!
Florida Power and Light's (FPL) new Discovery Solar Energy Center is a 74.5 megawatt solar site, spanning 491 acres at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The site contains about 250,000 solar panels, and once it's operational, will produce enough energy to power approximately 15,000 homes. Construction began in spring 2020, and teams expect to have the solar site finished by May 2021. Harnessing energy from the Sun, the panels will not directly power anything at Kennedy, but rather, will send energy directly to FPL's electricity grid for distribution to existing customers.
