I never loved maths in school, for me the end of creativity. Everything must be valid, sure, ... . But space? Geometry? Endless possibilities that has to be filled. That can't be boring!

In my pursuit to photograph the transparency of space I continue to follow the lectures of Stephen Shore. In this image the orange cone is of no consequence. My goal was to meticulously structure this location so the internal elements have a relationship to one another and to the frame which restricts them upon the flat plane.
It took me a very long time to position this scene.
I wanted that red reflector to act as the fulcrum in this picture.

Siempre me han entusiasmado los grandes documentales del estilo al filo de lo imposible, conquistas del K2, del Everest o bien otras cimas casi imposibles. Fueron grandes hazañas, especialmente en la década de los años 1950 y 1960 donde no había la tecnología ni los medios actuales....es un montaje de tres alpinistas caminando por una arista con el abismo a ambos lados. El lugar real es una pequeña arista de nieve del pasado invierno en el puerto del Pontón León.
I've always been excited about the great documentary style to the edge of impossible, conquest of K2, Everest or other peaks almost impossible. They were great deeds, especially in the decade of the 1950s and 1960s where there was no technology and the current media .... is an assembly of three mountaineers walking on an edge with the gap on both sides. The actual place is a small snowy ridge last winter Pontoon port León.

La Cortevecchia è un'area agro-turistica localizzata all‘interno del villaggio medioevale ricostruito di Grazzano Visconti (Piacenza). Si sviluppa su una superficie di circa 7000 mq. per buona parte destinata ad area verde e percorsi a libero accesso.
I fabbricati che la circondano, adibiti ad attività commerciali e mostre, sono una testimonianza della civiltà contadina di parecchi decenni fa e ben si armonizzano con il borgo.

The Cortevecchia is an area located inside Grazzano Visconti (Northern Italy), a village built in the first years of the last century by the undertaker Giuseppe Visconti as a loyal reproduction of a middle age village. The Cortevecchia has a surface of 7000 square meters, used as green area and pedestrian walk. The buildings that surround Cortevecchia are used for commercial activities and exhibitions, are a witness of the ancient rural civilization.

What it says in the title. What an amazing night we had on the 14th of March here in Abisko. I'd been dreaming of getting a good aurora on a night off work so that I could shoot at this location :) One of those nights where it all came together....

Well I have done my best to try and catch up with everyone, I was so far behind that I could only favourite photo's that I like as I just don't have the energy to comment on the all. I really want to keep up with everyone but I can't promise because I have been feeling so tired.
Today I managed to get a few photo's sorted that I hope to post over the next few days, mostly wildlife shots from last year plus of course photo's of Cirrus and Sweet Pea.
iPhoneography on iPhone 7 Plus. Original is a pano shot of an alley in Prescott, Arizona. I loaded it into the LayOut app then tweaked color and contrast in Aviary and Instagram apps.

This “selfie” of the James Webb Space Telescope primary mirror was created using a specialised pupil imaging lens inside of the NIRCam instrument that was designed to take images of the primary mirror segments instead of images of space. This configuration is not used during scientific operations and is used strictly for engineering and alignment purposes. In this case, the bright segment was pointed at a bright star, while the others aren’t currently in the same alignment. This image gave an early indication of the primary mirror alignment to the instrument.
