You can take a look to the link what officially space is.
I never loved maths in school, for me the end of creativity. Everything must be valid, sure, ... . But space? Geometry? Endless possibilities that has to be filled. That can't be boring!
Wikipedia: Definition Space
Stephen Shore said, Take a photo of a location and then turn a little or take a step forward and your space will be completely different. Completely ---
Completely ? Really? Well I was quite amazed when I took his words and put them in practice; From afar the space is quite appealing. Two steps forward and you loose the transparency of space and the drama of that shadow, and gain an immediacy of the tree and booth. Another two steps and it becomes a detailed portrait of the booth and the tree is delegated to a backdrop.
Addendum: 2 hours later I am wondering whether I should have posted one of the closer pictures which seem to hold more bravado and immediacy. But if I’m going to practice practice practice my awareness of the structure of space I will retain this version.
People have asked me why I talk about my photos. Well first and foremost Flickr is an interactive photography forum and none of us are destined for Magnum.
So let’s have fun and learn from one another. Cheers.
In my pursuit to photograph the transparency of space I continue to follow the lectures of Stephen Shore. In this image the orange cone is of no consequence. My goal was to meticulously structure this location so the internal elements have a relationship to one another and to the frame which restricts them upon the flat plane.
It took me a very long time to position this scene.
I wanted that red reflector to act as the fulcrum in this picture.
Oh, look. It's a new photo. These are quite rare.
I should probably edit this some more, right? You don't have to answer that.
What it says in the title. What an amazing night we had on the 14th of March here in Abisko. I'd been dreaming of getting a good aurora on a night off work so that I could shoot at this location :) One of those nights where it all came together....

Well I have done my best to try and catch up with everyone, I was so far behind that I could only favourite photo's that I like as I just don't have the energy to comment on the all. I really want to keep up with everyone but I can't promise because I have been feeling so tired.
Today I managed to get a few photo's sorted that I hope to post over the next few days, mostly wildlife shots from last year plus of course photo's of Cirrus and Sweet Pea.

'Not much going on yet, Mission Control is at present still done from the old building. We just finished testing the hardware and expect to switch control to here any day now...'
=========================
I combined 'old space' consoles in the front row and 'modern' computers in the back row. Mission Control will not just launch and guide new space ships. It will also still be attending to the Classic Spaceships and spacemen and spacewomen out there.

From 1984 originally, this is my Neo Classic Space take on the set 6824 Space Dart I. It features landing gear, and lots of translucent bricks, just like the original. Enjoy, and let me know what you think!

I would have liked to have been able to be the one to design this but I just did the render of it. This is a rendered version of Murdoch17s modification to a creation by a Eurobricks user named Sunnyx, a Star Craft "Battlecruiser", in July 2010.
