Qube Logistics launched a Sydney to Melbourne intermodal container service in November 2022, running between the Moorebank Logistics Park in South West Sydney and North Dynon in Melbourne three times a week.
The Saturday service only operates as far as Junee, before continuing the following day to Melbourne. Qube announced in December 2022 the purchase of 12 new GT46 locomotives from Progress Rail, which will likely bolster this service to operate more frequently.

Another sunset on South Beach. It's amazing how clear the sky is in the winter as long as you don't mind standing in the cold.
The South Street vibe reminds me a lot of the Mission in San Francisco. I only got to walk around there for a few hours, and while I really liked the off-beat grungy mood, I didn't really make the emotional connection that I have for the Mission. I do plan to return and give this area another chance.

One of the favorite emulsions is Foma Retropan 320, especially when it comes to shooting grasses. Even with fast exposures, the grass seems to have some movement.
Part of this is due to the depth of field, but a lot of just goes to the grain structure of the film.
Except that this isn't Retropan, it's regular old Fomapan 100. The trick here is the developer. Normally, I use Retro Special for Foma 100. It tends to be a bit contrasty, but I like the look, generally.
Foma 100 in this developer leans towards the softer look of Retropan. And with a yellow filter, it allows me to shoot it at 50iso or even 25! This means shooting wide open (or closer to it).
Typically, with this developer, the lighter grays are a bit more spread out, but the sky here was pretty bright and I probably didn't meter as well as I should.

Less than half a mile from a junction with the Passenger Main, Union Pacific's SCPV rolls down the Provo Subdivision through Salt Lake City's Ballpark neighborhood at 13th South and 2nd West.
The circular building above DD35A No. 75's cab is the Salt Palace, home to the Utah Stars (later Utah Jazz) basketball team, and the Salt Lake Golden Eagles hockey team. The structure opened in 1969 and was demolished in 1994.
Today this right of way is owned by the Utah Transit Authority. Opening for service late in 1999, today this is a very busy section of the combined Blue, Red, and Green lines, with light rail transit reaching the south, east, and west areas of the Salt Lake Valley, most of it on former Rio Grande and Union Pacific right of ways.
