There were a LOT of important happenings in my life since my last picture here. I didn't have any time to create something new, but desire was stronger then tiredness... so, here it is) nothing special, but it was so enjoyable to do what i really love.
A back end shot of this model , quite pleased with the look of it , again , a single door conversion and grafting on of an EFE VR engine cover amongst ither things....not the easiest!

More memories from Mom's house. These adorable stuffies were gifts from my aunt to my Mom. We are not Irish but her husband was and very proud of it. So she would always send a St. Patrick's Day card and some small gift to my Mom at this time of year. I love the Irish rabbit! And the little teddy bear is a Boyd's Bear, so they are treasures that I continue to enjoy. Good memories of all of them, since they have now all passed.
And Irish poem I found online that says it best...
Those we love don't go away
They walk beside us every day
Unseen, unheard, but always near
Still loved, still missed and very dear.

That's what happened here: something. The remains of the perimeter fence and the role the top end of Unst took on in WWII surveillance suggest a relationship. But there's bits and pieces here too new to belong to that time alone: those fluorescent tubes, floor tiles and a bundle of heavy duty cables.
I don't know what it was and too disinterested in the prattle outside to interrupt and ask for an opinion. Supposedly empty vessels make the most noise. It was quieter in here. I like that.
I had made a binder for my "daily somethings". I took a box and cut 2 scraps out of it and wrapped it with patterned paper (using mod-podge) and glued in the "logo" I had printed on plain white paper.
A BNSF Fakebonnet leads the ZEMCH Roadrailer at Bensenville on a cold morning in Chicagoland. The Z train is normally just a pair of NS Catfish, but every so often something different comes along.

Getting back into blogging.
Like my new pet? He's an all mesh monster. Thanks to Rogue for the find!
If there’s no chance to reach you,
No bridge, no boat, no stones,
Then I would swim the waters,
Just like Brian Jones.
If I would ever lose you,
To someone else one day,
I shall be diplomatic,
Just like Cassius Clay.
‘Cause you’re so special…
‘Cause you’re so special…
Just like anybody else.
You don’t need to worry,
Just rely on me.
I forever will be faithful,
Like Lady Chatterley.
If there’s a need to tease you,
As a chance to make you stay,
I’m gonna, I’m gonna be your wild one
Just like Doris Day.
‘Cause you’re so special…
Just like anybody else.
‘Cause you’re so special…
Just like anybody else.
You’re my everyday sensation,
You’re my heaven, you’re my hell.
Like a roller-coaster ride,
We can make it to the bell.
Perfect combination,
Like the seashore and the shell,
‘Cause you’re something special, babe,
Just like anybody else.
‘Cause you’re so special…
So incredible…
Just like anybody else,
Unbelievable…
‘Cause you’re so special…
So deceivable…
Just like anybody else.
‘Cause you’re so special…
So impossible…
Just like anybody else,
So incredible…
‘Cause you’re so special…
Unbelievable…
Just like anybody else,
So deceivable…
‘Cause you’re so special…
Just like anybody else,
‘Cause you’re so special…
You don’t need to worry,
‘Cause you’re so special…
Just rely on me,
Just like anybody else,
‘Cause you’re so special…
Just like anybody else…
…faithful, like Lady Chatterley…

We've had this rhododendron tree (old) in front of our house since we moved here in 1987. I was so happy when I found a new bird's nest (new) made of twigs, grass and leaves (borrowed) in it this week with three tiny, beautifully blue robin's eggs (blue) in it.
I wanted to do something else than a classic weather-photo, so I took out my I <3 rain umbrella on a totally sunny day. Unfortunately it turned to be not as sharp as I wanted and I had to do something about the colors, because otherwise the cars were distracting the view on my umbrella... I couldn't take a next shot since the days after this the weather turned bad again, so I decided this one will have to do =)

Woke up around noon and I have work soon, so I didn't have too much time for a 365 today, but here it is, something simple.

*I* made coffee. Rob usually makes coffee in the pot. I usually make it in the press. I like the silt. But I wanted more than just one cup readily available today.
