I finally did something again. It's been almost a year since my last photo. There has been a long stretch of time since I tried to do anything, I know this isn't the best but I needed to get my feet wet again. Living in a new place leaves me with less space then what I'm used to from before. Hopefully I can get back into the swing of things. I do miss sharing.
Something Extra is the very first shopping event ;Ruetique: has been a part of (unless you coun thet femboy hunt), so this is my very first shopping event display! It was so stressful trying to get times done, especially since I made some last minute decisions, but it's done now and I can finally breathe!

This Hubble image features a massive cluster of brightly glowing galaxies, first identified as Abell 3192. Like all galaxy clusters, this one is suffused with hot gas that emits powerful X-rays, and it is enveloped in a halo of invisible dark matter. All this unseen material – not to mention the many galaxies visible in this image – comprises such a huge amount of mass that the galaxy cluster noticeably curves spacetime around it, making it into a gravitational lens. Smaller galaxies behind the cluster appear distorted into long, warped arcs around the cluster’s edges.
The galaxy cluster is in the constellation Eridanus, but the question of its distance from Earth is a more complicated one. Abell 3192 was originally documented in the 1989 update of the Abell catalog of galaxy clusters that was first published in 1958. At that time, Abell 3192 was thought to comprise a single cluster of galaxies, concentrated at a single distance. However, further research revealed something surprising: the cluster’s mass seemed to be densest at two distinct points rather than one.
It was subsequently shown that the original Abell cluster is actually comprised of two independent galaxy clusters – a foreground group around 2.3 billion light-years from Earth, and another group at the greater distance of about 5.4 billion light-years from our planet. The more distant galaxy cluster, included in the Massive Cluster Survey as MCS J0358.8-2955, is central in this image. The two galaxy groups are thought to have masses equivalent to around 30 trillion and 120 trillion times the mass of the Sun, respectively. Both of the two largest galaxies at the center of this image are part of MCS J0358.8-2955; the smaller galaxies you see here, however, are a mixture of the two groups within Abell 3192.

I felt like making something...but not something from scratch. Made from a pair of cropped jeans i got from Buffalo Exchange 7 years ago...so I guess they have been reused and recycled :)
Totally inspired by the collections from this brand.
It is a fun project. Looked at several tutorials online and then went to work. Did not seam rip the inside seams, just cut them out...the "overstiched" seams are on the outside on this pair. Did not have navy or "jeans gold" thread, so I used oxblood and stiched over random seams in other places to carry it through. It has a bit of an a-line shape.
The theme of this year's pride march was 'Say Something', with 15 of the 130 floats addressing the issue of same-sex civil unionship. New South Wales Labor Minister Verity Firth said: "We must never forget that the first Mardi Gras in 1978 was about the struggle for equality and this aspect remains absolutely a part of the parade today."
Organisers set up speech bubbles along the parade route and called on spectators to speak out against inequality.
The parade was led by eight people who organisers say have made an impact in the lives of people identifying as GLBTQ. They included openly gay actress Lily Tomlin, gay rights campaigner Peter Tatchell and two Melbourne teens who protested against the ban on gay couples at a school formal.

This is WSOR's former Milwaukee Road Line between Jamesville and Fox Lake. From April 15, 2000 to September 23, 2001 Amtrak's little-used Lake Country Limited operated past here. Until 1982, commuter trains of the Milwaukee Road operated thru here. They continued beyond the present terminal in Fox Lake to Spring Grove, Solon Mills, Zenda, and Walworth.
Out of all the "Renee" faces I've seen there is something about this fashionista that I find very unique, maybe its the lighter hair, or the red lips, or bangs lol
The Postcard
A postally unused Comicard Series postcard that was published by E. Marks, Fine Art Publishers, Torbay Road, Kilburn, London N.W.6.
The artwork was by Pip. E. Marks obviously operated under a broad definition of what constituted Fine Art.

A larger chamber towards the railway tunnel. At the bricked-up front side there was probably a gateway into the Lötschberg tunnel. It's possible that this was formerly the access to the bunkers. Something that once could have been a door, I have not found. Switzerland, July 15, 2015. (4/5)

I am not sure what kind of birds these are. They look somewhat like grackles, but they are not as dark or have the shiny-blue colored feathers. They also made noises unlike any other type of bird I have heard before. I saw these birds eating something on a wall next to a McDonald's in Oklahoma City. I don't recall ever seeing this type of bird in Ohio.

The tide recedes, but leaves behind
bright seashells on the sand.
The sun goes down, but gentle warmth
still lingers on the land.
The music stops, yet echoes on
in sweet, soulful refrains.
For every joy that passes,
something beautiful remains.

Every five minutes Joey is showing me something new he's done to his homemade Skopio. They aren't available retail anymore and he really wanted one. He took apart the Witch Doctor and other Bionicle and Technic pieces to make his own this weekend. He wants me to mention that it has one eye on purpose.

Something like cloud is spread over the sky,
The earth, too, is something like cloud.
Fingers stripped of their gold foil,
Overspread the earth, black as cloud shadows.
At sunset, when clouds burst into flame,
The fingers move.

...Or something... I'm not sure what I'm seeing here. That male seemed to be playing hard-to-get. I watched the female follow him around for quite a while. (These are common mergansers. The male is in the front)
I just checked out Youtube and it turns out I should have stuck around longer as they were about to make some chicks. hubba hubba.
Here is something different from me. I have decided to move in a different direction with the portrait side of my business. Ya, just now launching a business. :) I did my first newborn photo shoot and had a blast! Little boy slept for me for three hours as I carefully placed him here and there. So much fun! Shooting another newborn this week!
