Yes, I really do make such a culinary delight. Every girl who tries my Hot Rat Sandwich likes it and usually wants another unless it it too late in the evening for a big snack. What's in it? That is a secret at this time, but I will reveal the fact that it is not a sandwich, and it doesn't contain any rat meat. Well, I had to call it something, right? You see, I had been making them for a number of years for personal consumption, and when an old girlfriend came over about 5 1/2 years ago for drinks and late night munchies, I needed a name for my tasty snack.

Oh yes, my Hot Rat Sandwich has a very special property; it is the the world's only 100% proven aphrodisiac. That's right. Every single time I have served my Hot Rat Sandwich to a girl, I have been seduced by her! Works every time, so I have to be careful who I serve them to. I don't want to violate their comfort zone by coming on too strong. A Lady must be serious about her cooking and lovemaking.

Someday in the not too distant future, I'll post my recipe and cooking photos of my Hot Rat Sandwich. I have told the girls and boys at work since none of them are on my seduction list. I'm known to be a little outrageous as only an older T-girl can be. For now I'll just be a tease.

There was nothing profound about this scene when I captured it. I’d just glanced up from watching my feet make their way down the sidewalk when I saw this lady about to cross the street, lifted my camera and released. I underexposed the shot pretty badly in camera, but looking back on it now, there’s something heavy and distinctly Prague-esque about the light, because of it. Makes me miss the travels. Let’s go back.

This is WSOR's former Milwaukee Road Line between Jamesville and Fox Lake. From April 15, 2000 to September 23, 2001 Amtrak's little-used Lake Country Limited operated past here. Until 1982, commuter trains of the Milwaukee Road operated thru here. They continued beyond the present terminal in Fox Lake to Spring Grove, Solon Mills, Zenda, and Walworth.

Out of all the "Renee" faces I've seen there is something about this fashionista that I find very unique, maybe its the lighter hair, or the red lips, or bangs lol

So, turns out my girlfriend doesn't do so well with being left alone in the dark. Two horses came running up from nowhere and she about soiled herself trying to get into the rundown shack I was lighting. Jeez, I was only gone for 30 seconds ;)

Something to remember,

Someone to remember,

Someday,

Somehow,

Someone to surrender.

The tide recedes, but leaves behind

bright seashells on the sand.

The sun goes down, but gentle warmth

still lingers on the land.

The music stops, yet echoes on

in sweet, soulful refrains.

For every joy that passes,

something beautiful remains.

Every five minutes Joey is showing me something new he's done to his homemade Skopio. They aren't available retail anymore and he really wanted one. He took apart the Witch Doctor and other Bionicle and Technic pieces to make his own this weekend. He wants me to mention that it has one eye on purpose.

There were so many shooting stars even when shooting for this picture, but hardly to see. One longer shooting star is marked on the bottom in the middle. Next time I shouldn't go with 11mm for motivs like this. Even though 20 mins far from Berlin the dome of smog above Berlin is irritating the lower part of the milkyway ... but maybe it's not even the milky way, just Smog ;)

Due to the lack of a shining moon the forest were lightened with a strong LED.

Vertical Pano from three images, each 46sec, so the impact of moving stars is reduced even more.

Something like cloud is spread over the sky,

The earth, too, is something like cloud.

Fingers stripped of their gold foil,

Overspread the earth, black as cloud shadows.

At sunset, when clouds burst into flame,

The fingers move.

Here is something different from me. I have decided to move in a different direction with the portrait side of my business. Ya, just now launching a business. :) I did my first newborn photo shoot and had a blast! Little boy slept for me for three hours as I carefully placed him here and there. So much fun! Shooting another newborn this week!

Just editing some old photos and quite liked this effect, I won't be doing it much but thought it was good to try something different

I wanted a nice simple composition that displays some artistic principals. Smoke was pretty good for this.

I finished two and 3/4 of my old, stalled projects, so according to my new rule, I can now make something new!

This message has been on display at one of the neighborhood Baptist churches for a couple weeks or more. Seems to be that when they have “a good one,” they let it go for a pretty good run. I’ll have to admit, this one does give me something to think about, every time I pass by. I wondered, for instance, if it was a thought that just popped into the head of the pastor one recent day. I kind of doubted that though. The logical thing to do, of course, is a bit of quick Googling. Which revealed that – as suspected – the witty and pithy homily has been bouncing around for a while.

For instance, Brandon, a blogger who describes himself as a Christian gay guy from Kentucky, wrote in 2007 that one of his favorite quotes is “if you stop to give the devil a ride, eventually he'll want to be the one doing the driving.”

www-afterthoughts.blogspot.com/2007/12/if-you-give-devil-...

Another blogger, a Cathy Deaton, also took the quote as a jumping-off point for a posting on her website, which is titled "Who God Is." Her version of the saying is, "Never give the devil a ride, he’ll want to take over the driving." She attributes it to "anonymous."

who-god-is.com/never-give-the-devil-a-ride

I can't find the date of writing or posting, but another writer on the web, Robert Longman, uses a slightly different version of the quote ...

Never give the devil a ride.

He'll always want to drive.

This is in his discussion of "Spiritual Battles."

www.spirithome.com/warfare-teachings.html

But anyway, as mentioned, this little quote has served as grist for a good deal of commentary and discussion. It also got me wondering on a somewhat wider scope. Specifically, about how references to "Satan" come up fairly often in utterances from some of the Muslim clerics and leaders. They especially like to refer to the U.S. as the "great satan" of the world. So, I wondered how that little line or two would translate into Arabic. I'll bet it wouldn't come out on the other side with the same meaning that's attached to it in the uses cited above. It might just sound strange. Or funny. Or, who knows?
