Something like cloud is spread over the sky,

The earth, too, is something like cloud.

Fingers stripped of their gold foil,

Overspread the earth, black as cloud shadows.

At sunset, when clouds burst into flame,

The fingers move.

Carries wedding day, right before the ceremony holding "Something old".

It's always something...

I just wanted something simple and "pretty" this time around.

Update: I got my Japan placement tonight!!! I'll be in the osaka area and will be in Japan by July 1st with my training commencing on July 7th. I'm so stoked it's retarded. Finally, my journey has a tentative start date. SO incredibly happy right now.

Here is something different from me. I have decided to move in a different direction with the portrait side of my business. Ya, just now launching a business. :) I did my first newborn photo shoot and had a blast! Little boy slept for me for three hours as I carefully placed him here and there. So much fun! Shooting another newborn this week!

Just editing some old photos and quite liked this effect, I won't be doing it much but thought it was good to try something different

"Thumper" DEMU 207010 exits Salisbury on 26th May 1989 with the 09:17 Salisbury to Southampton service. I must admit to having a great liking for these units.

Something so tragic we had to care...

There's something mystical in our dreams

So simplistic it kicks and screams..."

an amtrak p32-8 with the Pere Marquette in tow i was caught off my guard when i seen this coming if i would of knew this was pulling the Pere Marquette i wouldn't of been on the over pass.

even though amtrak's current paint scheme is ugly i ponder what engine 507 looks like it has been repainted from the paint scheme pictured here to the current one.

I wanted a nice simple composition that displays some artistic principals. Smoke was pretty good for this.

I finished two and 3/4 of my old, stalled projects, so according to my new rule, I can now make something new!

This message has been on display at one of the neighborhood Baptist churches for a couple weeks or more. Seems to be that when they have “a good one,” they let it go for a pretty good run. I’ll have to admit, this one does give me something to think about, every time I pass by. I wondered, for instance, if it was a thought that just popped into the head of the pastor one recent day. I kind of doubted that though. The logical thing to do, of course, is a bit of quick Googling. Which revealed that – as suspected – the witty and pithy homily has been bouncing around for a while.

For instance, Brandon, a blogger who describes himself as a Christian gay guy from Kentucky, wrote in 2007 that one of his favorite quotes is “if you stop to give the devil a ride, eventually he'll want to be the one doing the driving.”

www-afterthoughts.blogspot.com/2007/12/if-you-give-devil-...

Another blogger, a Cathy Deaton, also took the quote as a jumping-off point for a posting on her website, which is titled "Who God Is." Her version of the saying is, "Never give the devil a ride, he’ll want to take over the driving." She attributes it to "anonymous."

I can't find the date of writing or posting, but another writer on the web, Robert Longman, uses a slightly different version of the quote ...

Never give the devil a ride.

He'll always want to drive.

This is in his discussion of "Spiritual Battles."

But anyway, as mentioned, this little quote has served as grist for a good deal of commentary and discussion. It also got me wondering on a somewhat wider scope. Specifically, about how references to "Satan" come up fairly often in utterances from some of the Muslim clerics and leaders. They especially like to refer to the U.S. as the "great satan" of the world. So, I wondered how that little line or two would translate into Arabic. I'll bet it wouldn't come out on the other side with the same meaning that's attached to it in the uses cited above. It might just sound strange. Or funny. Or, who knows?

Just realised there is an insect flying about six inches from his nose.

I have read that after a female mantis mates with a male, she doesn't give head, but takes his. Well, here is evidence of an apparently very satisfied female mantis with her headless lover still "riding" her.

Multiple orgasms ... HA! One and done.

This strikes me as bridal for some reason, and the shape looks like a bouquet. So, for this bride it'll be her 'something blue'.

There is something very charming and collectable about Pioneer products such as this Mercedes-Benz based Police van. Amusingly this casting obviously started out as an ice cream van complete with plastic figure holding out an ice cream cone which Pioneer have used for other variants. They havn't bothered to take out the ice cream vendour for this Police Force version. Part of a 16 vehicle set bought recently. Mint and boxed.

A bit of lucky timing picking up my son allows this catch. Extra 391 departs Neenah after making a setout on 259 track off of Dixie Siding. I haven't heard that symbol before.

There were a LOT of important happenings in my life since my last picture here. I didn't have any time to create something new, but desire was stronger then tiredness... so, here it is) nothing special, but it was so enjoyable to do what i really love.

Oh Cod, how I love getting postcards! :)

Kind of funny considering the jacket repair I posted last night. :)
