I've decided to try to upload a little something each day, so that means that you all get to enjoy random shots from my camera roll's backlog until I get my "proper" photos organized. X^D

I spent my day working and working, and then shopping with some girlfriends. Which is more futile? The correct answer is obviously shopping. Something futile is something having no useful result and working has the useful result of earning money to go out shopping with your girlfriends, who as a matter of fact aren't girls any longer and need to feel as if they were. A fun day. Wouldn't have been fun if it wasn't for the futile part of it. So long live futility

“The universe is always speaking to us. ... Sending us little messages, causing coincidences and serendipities, reminding us to stop, to look around, to believe in something else, something more.”

Eppure ci sarà qualcosa di cui essere felici?
And yet there it will be something of whom to be happy?
Clearly, I'm experiencing a powerful emotion. Can't hide it but why would I? I'm not ashame of who I am.
Mesmerizing, changing, surprising...all seem to describe clouds. When the light has that special "something" to it, it's hard not to be awestruck by nature's beauty.
most of my animal portraits are against a black or a dark background, I just wanted to try something different, the original was a bit overexposed so it worked perfectly with the idea in my mind :)
Kishan is Nabarro Harr and believe or not, my cousin had her 2nd male baby and she asked my advice for a name. I named the baby Made Putra Rangga Khisnaya.
Made because he is 2nd child (in Bali 1st child's name will begin with "Putu" and second child's will have "Made" in their first name, and so on)
Putra means "son" Khisnaya means "Light" and his nickname is Kishan ^_^

Well really it is a ball of plasma. I think that there is a strong electric field which is trying to get from the centre to the outside. Once a path ionizes some air then it makes a track, and sometimes several tracks merge as they go inwards. Because every place in the sphere has the electric field, a filament wants to form near every place. However the filaments make a dancing pattern that changes very rapidly. The result at any one moment is like a lot of lightning bolts radiating from a point.

Something Blue
I am having such a hard time thinking of titles lately.
My Great Grandparents gave this minature tea set to me such a long time ago!
I had to dig through a cupboard of wonders to find it!
I'm not sure that I am completely satisfied. I had an idea in my head
and that picture looked amazing, but this is all I got, lol.
You can expect more pictures of this tea set to come! (:
I kind of want to start over on flickr. I don't know really. I just feel like I could be better, and I want to show that through a fresh start, but I don't want to delete any photos.
So maybe I'll make a new account when my pro. expires.
We'll see.
Not my usual theme, but I was asked to produce this Volvo FH in the livery of Accrington haulier McMurrays.
Bare metal repaint was straightforward but the livery design was something of a pig to reproduce, with no square-on side images to reference - and each side is different to the other!
It's not an exact reproduction of the actual design, but does look remarkably close.
Across the wide waters
something comes
floating ~ a slim
and delicate
ship, filled
with white flowers~
and it moves
on its miraculous muscles
as though time didn't exist,
as though bringing such gifts
to the dry shore
was a happiness
almost beyond bearing.
And now it turns its dark eyes,
it rearranges
the clouds of its wings,
it trails
an elaborate webbed foot,
the color of charcoal.
Soon it will be here.
Oh, what shall I do
when that poppy-colored beak
rests in my hand?
Said Mrs. Blake of the poet:
I miss my husband's company ~
he is so often
in paradise.
Of course! the path to heaven
doesn't lie down in flat miles.
It's in the imagination
with which you perceive
this world,
and the gestures
with which you honor it.
Oh, what will I do, what will I say, when those
white wings
touch the shore?

Another joint effort in the collaboration series with the awesome BooRad.

Thanks as always go to my friend Boo for supplying the words.
Please head over to Boo's stream for a perfect mixture of fine words and fine images.
