Rosy: I really wanted to make a snowman.
Ivy: Lindamom is worried about hail getting in our eyes. She is disappointed and tired after putting all these clothes on us.
Holly: Shall we sing her a song?
Ivy: ok, a Christmas song?
Rosy: No, something that won't make her think of the cold.
Holly: (whispers)
Rosy & Ivy: ok good idea.
Holly, Rosy, Ivy:
This dog is no puppy dog she's strange as the trees
she brown as the mountains and white as the breeze
she walks on the water without any boots
her eyes are as fine as the music of flutes
but she will not learn language nor will she bear scorn
but is the best little dog that ever was born
but she will not sweep chimneys nor will she pluck corn
but she is the best little dog that ever was born
but as yet she can't fly well nor play on the horn still she is the best little dog that ever was born.

Got 2 inches of snow ( was supposed to be flurries as we were on the edge of the cold front )..

since we didn't get a 2 hour delay this morning, I gave my students a "1 day, we should have had a 2 hour delay photo challenge"...I decided to take some photos as well
