Made as a thank-you for someone who works with cameras, so made some tinky tiny little SLR camera toppers out of chocolate fondant. Plum IMBC on vanilla cupcakes.
The first SLR and 'proper' camera I ever had. Cost about £30 off my student grant around 1975 and weighs about half a ton. The funny rectangle above the lens is the light sensor and you had to stop the lens down manually before the shot. Note the comprehensive range of shutter speeds:-)
Served me well for about 4 years till I got this one in the summer of 1979.
The SLR 680 models were equipped with a sonar autofocus system, which permitted returning to the plain focusing screen. The later SLR 680/690 models updated the basic design of the Sonar Onestep to more modern standards by incorporating support for newer 600 cartridges instead of SX-70 cartridges, and a built-in flash instead of the disposable Flashbar. Today they are the most evolved forms of the SX-70, and are highly sought after by Polaroid enthusiasts

Great Wall DF-2 (I accidentally defaced the name plate when I attempted to clean it. Wah!); Kowa/Six.
I'm hoping to be able to take the Kowa out for a test run this weekend (just arrived yesterday)...we've had a bit of a snow storm come through...but that doesn't necessarily have to put a stop to things...the temperature might, however. The Great Wall's already had it's initial run.
Had a cool thing happen...for those of you who remember my having dropped my Yashica LM 44 on its test run, and then the shutter cock not working...I took it out today because I'm getting ready to send it to Mark Hama for repair and a CLA. Just for the heck of it, I thought I'd try the shutter cock and release and to my surprise, it worked!!! I tested it on all speeds and apertures and it appears to be working fine. Looks like a CLA will be all that's necessary. Maybe it just was stunned by the fall... : )
