The silver mines at Kongsberg. This is our ride into the bottomless depths, some 2.3 km into the mountain, 15 minutes of shake, rattle and roll. Oh, and it's only 7°C in there, so bring a jacket.

Even though the film is now hard to obtain, the diminutive Pentax 110 SLR is worthy of a place in a collection trying to represent the History of cameras. The prices can be silly. I purchased this immaculate outfit on ebay, Camera, standard, wide angle and tele lenses, flash, motor wind, instruction book, fully working,Presentation box and outer cover, all nr mint., £20 ( $40).
Location: Düsseldorf
The SLR is one of my personal favorites of all time.
It's gut such a unique styling, paired with an engine that won't be something to be featured in future cars. 5.5l + superchargers will disappear. The styling is timeless, the amount of cars relatively low.
The car was limited to 3500 units, of which only around 2100 have been built.

This is the camera that started it all for me. Konica TC-X with the super sharp 40mm F/1.8 pancake lens. Actually the last Konica SLR introduced and built by Cosina. A very basic SLR. Polycarbonate body, shutter priority AE or metered manual, manual focus, manual film advance, but had DX film coding. The battery (1 AAA) only powered the meter so if the battery died you still had a working manual camera. This camera still works and still takes great photos
