Snapping around with the mobile. Sweden really offer a great variation of marvelous situations and scapes. I don't have time for dsrl shooting and can´t wait for long exposures for scene like this one but it will be in the future. Last days in Sweden after having done lot of things before the move the 15th of June. You all understand that, at the moment, I only have time for this kind of photos and to say hi. Hope you are all doing well.
Edit 08/06: won't post so many pictures but I'll try to play catch up a bit...

I had fun with a previous "shoe shot" I took on a whim so I wanted to try another that was intended to convey a situation/feeling. This iPhone shot was taken as I sat next to my BH waiting on the doctor to come in and do the sonogram. I thought this shot, with the hint of another waiting chair at the top, conveyed the notion of waiting.
I still consider things like sonograms to be rather amazing and magical. They could tell us the baby's weight, measure every internal organ and check for any abnormalities, and so forth. My BH was really pleased the baby had shifted and was no longer previa. Everything is looking great with less than 3 months to go.
Thanks again for your visits, comments, faves and most of all friendships! Have a great Tuesday!

During our photoshoots, we sometimes encounter situations that bring unexpected benefits, as in this case. While we were shooting in this alley, a man walked into our frame.
A cinematic image emerged by simply continuing with the shooting: a somewhat dark alley, an approaching figure, and a woman unaware of what was going on behind her.

Sometimes, the wrong light situation works very well at the right time. Especially in the steppe just before the sunset for shooting against the incoming train and the sun ;)

The first photo I took on my recent visit to Mono lake. At 5:30 a.m I was all alone. A situation that changed rapidly as carloads of photographers began arriving.

To the right on the horizon was a flash of cloud lightning. The thunder was obscured by the boom of the fireworks. Under normal circumstances, we would have left immediately as there is a real danger being out on the water in a canoe during a thunder storm. Motor boats can get out much more quickly. In a canoe the only option is to paddle to the closest shore and wait it out. Previous paddles to this location have taken us about one hour to paddle back to our put-in. Fortunately we had friends that just bought a riverside property 10 minutes away.

Photo taken just prior to driving down the switchbacks of the Moki Dugway. It was kind of tense at times around the narrow bends, but well worth drive for the scenery. - Mexican Hat, Utah
