A panoramic view of a shelf cloud at the leading edge of a line of showers and thunderstorms over east Devon at lunchtime on 18 May 2021.
My first submission for this weeks "organized chaos" theme.
When I left the classroom many of my classroom library books ended up in my son's room because I don't have a lot of storage space. He has two book cases in there, both with the books shelved two deep. I'm sure you can tell which ones he's been reading lately...
Feb 3rd, 2017
It's quite weird to see this kind of cloud at the beginning of February. Anyway, looks like today has been the first chase day of 2017 with this "winterly" shelf cloud.
Reworked another old shot, of a shelf in a Tudor kitchen. May use this for the ARAF competition. Not sure yet though, may come up with other old things.

“Boy, Charlie, it’s so loud in here, no one could possible fall asleep.”
“What?”
“I said, it’s so loud in here no one could sleep!”
“I know what you mean. This year’s group of elves is really loud.”
“I would think sleeping in that bad, horrible, lousy building would be much quieter.”
“But you would probably feel a cold draft all night there.”
“You’re right, Charlie. I guess I’ll try to stick it out here.”
“It looks like their getting ready to do that line dance again. They can really get excited about that crazy dance.”
It's almost midnight. Don’t they know what time it is? We have to get to work early in the morning. I wonder if these guys will even be ready for tomorrow. Gmbl.

...a wild day ahead and wild week ahead as well, I guess that would explain how sad my dolly shelf looks right now. Have a great Sunday!
Yay! I made these displays months ago, but never had the room to put them up until I rearranged my work room recently!
I took most of the books, and albums out, and re-arranged the shelf...im pretty happy with the way it turned out! It's definitly way more inspiring that what it was before!
:)
This is a quick pic of my dolly shelf as of today. I have had a fun but hectic day. We had 20 family members over for lunch to celebrate my daughter's 14th birthday and Fathers Day. Just finished cleaning up. I need a sit down and a cup of tea, Phew!
Same polyporus shelf mushroom as this shot , using a single exposure.

Been putting all my tokusatsu stuff in chronological order. need to fix the spacing and add another shelf at the bottom for my mini stuff so I have more room for the 80's and 90's... what little there is.
Added notes with the Years of the character debuts.
The Lower Shelf Stones on the edge of Bleaklow above White Clough.
Glossop can be seen in the distance, the only part of High Peak under COVID lockdown (Tier 2)

I'm trying to make a little room on the shelf in a tall bookcase in my work area. I like when people take the Dolly Shelf Sunday photos. I want it to be neutral colors so I can use any color clothes or furniture I want. I used some walls from a two-sided dio I built a long time ago. And the windows that keep reappearing, lol. I'm not sure if I have any more of this paper to make the 3rd wall, and I don't have enough of the flooring. It's a start though. Lily seems to be indifferent at this point.
