Built for the Royal Maritime Auxiliary Service as a dual role cable layer/oceanographic research ship and taken into service on 18 June 1976. Fitted with two sets of electrically powered cable machines forward, supplied by Standard Telephones and Cables, and three bow sheaves. Fitted with two cable tanks with a capacity of 400 tons and a hold for cable buoys, grapnels, ropes etc.

Ballet wants to try it on first since there is pink. :P I think it makes her transformed from a little girl to a young lady, don't you think so? And with this setting and lighting, it also makes me think she is sitting in her private glass room with twining roses on the wall outside. ^^

The heavy Panzerspähwagen was a large but very fast addition to the German mobile arsenal of the early war years. The original 6-rad (6 wheeled) versions were based on a 6x4 truck with armoured body, but by 1937 they were being replaced by the 8-rad versions. During the replacement, the Sd.Kfz - (Sonderkraftfahrzeug, or special purpose vehicle) numbers were carried directly over; differentiation is made by the addition of 6-Rad or 8-Rad (Ger: "6 wheel" or "8 wheel") in the vehicle name.
