Saving Hope
...and you were just like the moon, so lonely, so full of imperfections, but just like the moon, you shined in times of darkness.
Day 312
This photo is so I can look back and remember (plus I'm tired, been working hard!). This is my view from the bedroom window. It is a lovely view and I will miss it. I've been cleaning and moving small stuff to the new/old place all week. I'm getting excited!! Tonight is my last night here. I'll be moving the furniture and be completely moved on Tuesday!! Then I can relax, give my back a break, and enjoy a different view :-)
"It was really nice of you to invite Charcoal to live with us, but where is he going to sleep?
"With you in your bed."
"Umm, OK. I don't want to be rude or anything, but is that smell of his going to go away?"
"Phillip, shhhh he may hear you."
"His left ear is burnt off...I am assuming he can't."
"That's right.....well, probably not. Just make him sleep on your right side...your right nostril doesn't work anyway."
"Duh Marble, but I can still smell!"
"And he can still hear you."
"Oh, sorry Charcoal."
"Z-alright!"
This is me when I was little. After a rain and when all the worms were left astray, I would collect them off of the cement and gently place them in the garden.
Today was so sunny and lovely. The plan is to put the sun in a jar and save it for a rainy day. Sound good? Good. :)
This morning I had SAT's...round two. BLAH! I hate sitting in the same place for five hours! My brain turned to mush by section ten. Guess we'll see how that one turns out in about 18 days. ;) Oh and today I finally ordered a remote and an awesome tripod (thanks to the help of chriscosta77). I can't wait for them to get here so I can finally start doing some decent selfies!
I'm going to the lake tonight with a few of my best friends and spending the day there tomorrow. I'll be sure to get some pictures. :) Happy Saturday everybody!

After losing GP9R 1751 to a main bearing failure the previous week, MP15AC GATX 326 has thankfully been brought in to solve the G and U's locomotive issues, albiet temporarily. Its quite refreshing to run a decent piece of power for a change. 8/4/2016

Well, I am saving today's time! This was when the rain began and it is still raining and before 13:58 we had lovely sunshine! I planned to go for my walk this afternoon but now I wish I had chosen anytime an hour before this time to get out and about!

Saving Myself 2014

Saving more memories from a short morning walk at the park. Crews had just watered some of the flowers.

I'm on a mission to complete the 52 week photo challenge, to capture at least 1 photo a week for a whole year.

Background: Got a little lazy so I just downloaded the background from Google image and then added the clock and flying hearts :).
A reminder for folks living in the US that it will be daylight saving time this weekend, so don't forget to spring your clock forward by 1 hour. That means we will all lose an hour of sleep....which I really hate :(

This was actually such a hard picture to take. I'm AWFUL at shooting subjects from above, let alone myself.
Both of my hands were suppose to be in this but holy crap it's so hard holding loads of change and pushing your remote button. Haha
