Seen on route X30 at High Wycombe, Eden Bus Station.
Two of the three Sapphire Citaros originally branded for Watford - Luton route 321 are now at Wycombe; the third is at Tamworth. The two at Wycombe (3912/3913) are now 3042 & 3043 and carry the new Arriva standard livery. Here, though, 3912 is seen on the X30 during its short time at Aylesbury.

Emerald Lakes in the morning light. The lakes are blue in colour thanks to the completely cloudless sky. CPL filter was used to enhance the blue reflection.

Seen here in Thame High Street is this Arriva Sapphire liveried Alexander Dennis Enviro 400. It is about to operate service 280 to Oxford rail station. It is reg number SN15 LPK.
Arriva Kent Thameside / Arriva Southern Counties have just introduced a pair of Wrightbus Streetlite DF Buses to their Route 133 . This runs approximately hourly between Stansted Airport Coach Station and Braintree, Essex . With a couple of early and late journeys extended to Colchester . As the vehicles are based at Colchester Garage .
Here in bright low spring sunshine , 4324 SK68TWV reverses off of the stand , at Stansted Airport Coach Station to Head for Braintree via Takeley and Dunmow .

I did not know that they used to tattoo tropical birds for identification purposes when they brought them into the country, but that is what the "eyelashes" are on this beautiful macaw. They are not ugly marks but would be better if the poor bird had had the right to choose....In my opinion.

Sapphire Pool, one of the prettiest in Yellowstone, settled down to its placid former self after a violent episode in 1959. The Hebgen Lake earthquake turned the placid clear pool into a powerful, muddy geyser for years afterward. T. Scott Bryan writes,
"No spring in Yellowstone was more greatly affected by the 1959 earthquake than Sapphire. The day after the shocks the crater was filled with muddy water, constantly boiling with vigor. Four weeks later Sapphire began having tremendous eruptions. Fully 125 high and almost equally as wide, these eruptions were among the most powerful ever known in Yellowstone. At first, the intervals were as short as two hours, and each play lasted five minutes."
The eruptions enlarged the pool by several feet, destroying the geyserite "biscuits" around its crater that had given Biscuit Basin its name. Over time the eruptions became less intense and frequent. By 1971 all the muddiness was gone, and Sapphire again regained its pristine aqua color, as you see it today.
Change is the only constant in Yellowstone's hot springs. Just 100 yards to the east of Sapphire Pool (out of frame to the right of the photo) is an area where explosions have created and altered springs and geysers in the decades following 1902. Explosions as recent as 2006-2008 threw rocks and debris as far as 50 feet. Remnants of these explosions are visible from the boardwalk as you walk to Sapphire Pool. Geologists are keeping an eye on the area (see next photo of Black Opal Pool).
I was actually hoping to find an older Sierra I’d glimpsed near here earlier in the year, but found this tidy Sapphire instead. Had a quick chat with the owner, who’d just braved a walk on the seafront, and he told me he’d owned for it the last 15-16 years and is very happy with it. Starting to be the odd problem getting parts, but it seems like something he’ll be sticking with for some time yet (the tax to next October certainly suggests as much).
I think he liked the fact someone took an interest in his car and wanted to take a photo. I nearly didn’t bother when I saw him approaching, but I’m glad I got him into conversation about it.
‘GV’ Suffolk registration, so only moved one county along into Essex.
Like the Civic and 205 shot, another interesting comparison with my Camry.

Lake Dillon gives up its heat to a cold day in the mountains and will soon be covered with ice. Over 4' (122 cm) of snow has already fallen up here this month providing a great start for all the nearby ski resorts.

1933(SN15 LNV) is seen emerging from Leeds City Centre on a 110 service towards Kettlethorpe on its 2nd day in service.
