The sign is still there but with the "motel" part painted over. maybe it isn't a motel any longer.
Herbs bookmark are easy to make and they have beautiful scent.
Fresh homegrown sage was placed inside a book and left alone for a few weeks.
Then the book was opened again and the bookmark was dehydrated and ready to use.
Not the herb but hopefully a reasonable representation of the colour.

Little Sage from several years ago.... she wasn't sure she wanted to travel even then.... she was getting ready to go on a plane flying thousands of miles away from her home....and she was nervous. She was checking how soft the tissue paper was that lined her little packing box...
Finally she did go... had a lot of fun and helped raise funds for a little donkey sanctuary.....
She is a tiny 2 inch needle felted, string jointed bear with black onyx beads for eyes and an embroidered nose.
No new pics for Teddy Tuesday..so I'm putting Sage's photo on for you...

A Cold War relic. The SAGE building sits forgotten the Nike missiles it controlled long outdated and deactivated. Across from this building was my Army Reserve unit. That building has been replaced with a new facility with a different mission.
Taken last month when we had a real blue sky.
Better viewed large and thank you for your favourites. :O)
A native prairie wildflower with delicate little flowers that I've found difficult to photograph. I found this one in a shaded area and used the flash to isolate and illuminate the flowers.
A LONG time ago, when I was writing for a MENSA publication, the editor-in-chief sent me this sage & cedar gift! I have saved it- maybe time to use it . . . :)
