This is my thermostat in my 100 year old house at the worst of it yesterday ... my air conditioner just can't keep up with the temperatures lately. I turn it up to the best temp it reaches to give it a rest. Supposed to be the last day (God please) of this heat wave here.
OBTW, the thermostat was soooooo dirty I had to texturize my stupid shot. This was a Rustic Grunge texture ... that's me of late ... rustic and grungy.
ODC-Have A Seat
It's always nice when you can design your own things. I designed the arbor and the bench (more or less) Liam put his spin on them also. I have to say I'm very happy with the pair :).
The Hardy Kiwi is finally growing up the arbor poles. Maybe next year we will have flowers and fruit.

Nestled in the beautiful northern woods is an old rustic wooden mill with sunlight filtering through the trees
Prompt: A rustic wooden mill in the forest, surrounded by lush greenery and a small rocky stream flowing past it. The scene is bathed in soft natural light filtering through dense trees, creating an atmosphere of tranquility and beauty. A cozy log cabin sits nearby on one side, adding to its charm. picturesque setting, exquisite detail, in the style of a master painter, high-resolution, highly-realistic,
Corral and gardens at Pipe Spring looking NE from the front of "Windsor Castle." Happy Fence Friday!
Pipe Spring was named by the 1858 Mormon missionary expedition to the Hopi mesas led by Jacob Hamblin. In the 1860s Mormon pioneers from St. George, Utah, led by James M. Whitmore brought cattle to the area, and a large cattle ranching operation was established. In 1866 the Apache, Navajo and Paiute tribes of the region joined the Utes for the Black Hawk War, and, after they raided Pipe Spring, a protective fort was constructed by 1872 over the main spring. The following year the fort and ranch was purchased by Brigham Young for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon Church). The LDS Bishop of nearby Grafton, Utah, Anson Perry Winsor, was hired to operate the ranch and maintain the fort, soon called Winsor Castle. This isolated outpost served as a way station for people traveling across the Arizona Strip, that part of Arizona separated from the rest of the state by the Grand Canyon. It also served as a refuge for polygamist wives during the 1880s and 1890s. The LDS Church lost ownership of the property through penalties involved in the federal Edmunds-Tucker Act of 1887. -- Courtesy Wikipedia
Today the complex is open to the public and the visitors center is operated as a partnership between the the U.S Government and the Kaibab Band of Paiute Indians. The entire area seen in this image is on the tribal lands of the Paiute Indians.

Hirondelle rustique ou Hirondelle de cheminée
Hirundo rustica - Barn Swallow
Règne : Animalia
Embranchement : Chordata
Classe : Aves
Ordre : Passeriformes
Famille : Hirundinidae
Genre : Hirundo
