I was takings pictures of birds at Forsythe NWR, NJ when this River Otter came out of the water and took off across the mud flat. I couldn't believe how fast it ran. It ran across the flat for about 75 yards then dove back in the water. Nothing was chasing it so I have no idea why it ran like that. I read that River Otters can run at 29 MPH. I think this one was near that speed.

Two kids run across a road in Bosnia. I took this image on the way to Mostar....yet I do not remember the viallage in which I made this. Many people in Bosnia ran when they were outside even well into 1996. This image was made in apx Feb 1996.
These are the remains of an old military sport field/tartan track (Tilly Barracks) nearby Kreut/Oberhausen.
