Just outpacing a pesky puffy is BNSF 2590 & 3120 with the Lind Turn from Yardley Yard (I feel so stupid typing that name out) through Marshall Canyon. Of interest the footpath you see behind the Geep is the alignment of the former Milwaukee Road Pacific Extension.

Roe Deer Stag captured yesterday morning at Lochindorb. Taken from the Roadside, inside the car which sometimes helps. This occasion he was off after the hind and i watched him chase her around the area for a good 10 minutes. I hope they are not on the estate too long as soon will be the glorious 12th.

Had a walk around Quidi Vidi lake today and after several days off rain lots of high water and run offs in the brooks and streams

Diesel Hydraulic DB Class 218 locos numbers 055 qnd 054 in blue livery cross the causeway linking the island of Westerland to the mainland.
These locos are fitted with the TB10 MTU engine giving 2470 hp each. MTU used to be the Maybach company.
A stormy sky was overhead giving shower after shower. It wasnt the stunning sunset i had hoped for but the break in the clouds made for a momentary bright spell.

The first CP run-through power set to Saint John on the EMR/NBSR came with a little bit of flare- in the form of heritage script lettered CP 7015, an EMD SD70ACU. Now westbound as 121-30, 7015 and 8844 have a 300 axle solid intermodal train in tow as they roll through Pea Ridge Road in Chester just before 2 p.m. with a nicely timed break between snow squalls.
