Looking almost as though it was still in LT service, GS67 (1953) at Bolney on the Brighton Run, 3/5/70.
After one of the most traumatic weeks in the city’s history, Manchester came out to play and have fun today.
The running of the annual Great Manchester Run drew huge crowds and Greater Manchester Police, assisted by several other forces, took to the streets in numbers to maintain the safety of the public.

You should call 101, the national non-emergency number, to report crime and other concerns that do not require an emergency response.
Always call 999 in an emergency, such as when a crime is in progress, violence is being used or threatened or where there is danger to life.
You can also call anonymously with information about crime to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Crimestoppers is an independent charity who will not want your name, just your information. Your call will not be traced or recorded and you do not have to go to court or give a statement.

This half-assed shot at Logansport of the 17K was just about the only time we couldn't set up for a well-executed run-by thanks to a crappy road system and numerous townies who decided to be on MY road when I needed it and insisted on driving the speed limit.
Damn people. This world would be great without them.
