In the fading light Go North West 3058 (BG66MJX) is seen sitting in the now infrequently used Littlemoss turning circle having just completed the 793, Audenshaw School to Littlemoss school run.

The service has been run by Bellevue Coaches for a good while now but they are due to lose the contract from Friday 3rd January 2025 with Go North West taking over at the start of the Bee changes from Jan 5th, so much for looking after the smaller operators of which many will cease or greatly reduce operations from the changeover date. I do believe, but don’t quote me, that as has happened previously with the other operators some of Bellevue’s staff have already thrown in the towel and jumped ship in search of further employment and as a result Bellevue can only cover the morning run. GNW, yet to have the destinations programmed, have been covering the evening service.

My test roll of Polagraphic HC slide film, field processed. Factory rated at ASA 400 I shot an additional roll of this at ASA 200 to give it a bit more punch. It has lost a bit of speed with age. This film was not intended for continuous tone subjects, it purpose was for lines and graphs. I have always loved the look of this film shot pictorially, it looks so primitive.

Polaroid's instant slide film came with a roll of film and a cube of chemistry meant to be processed in a Polaroid processor. If you lost or damaged the processing cube the film could not be processed conventionally.

After one of the most traumatic weeks in the city’s history, Manchester came out to play and have fun today.

The running of the annual Great Manchester Run drew huge crowds and Greater Manchester Police, assisted by several other forces, took to the streets in numbers to maintain the safety of the public.
