We're Here! : Break the Rules of Photography

Katarina lounges in the rule of thirds. As usual I cropped this photo into the 4:5 aspect ratio and lamented the fact that my camera does not default to this shape, especially for vertical compositions. My rant is over!

This world has many rules or you can say that - this world is made of and shaped by rules with life and death, the wheels of sun and moon, cold winter and warm summer and so on …..

Death – is the only passage to eternity. And eternity is the supreme rule that’s even above time.

Who can break those rules ? Only death can do that …. Or the eternity of time. We only see a friction of time, and we humans attempt to break the rules of eternity but in vain.

This beautiful old Kombi stood proud and perfect in the main street of Beaudesert. Dead straight panelwork and a bright white/yellow paint job made it a real head turner.

Not my usual thing, but who could resist a quick shot.

- the inner goings of transistors (such as the 2N3906 and 2N3904) are governed by the RULES of quantum physics.

-an important feature of applied Algebra are the logarithmic RULES, which allow replacement of multiplication and division operations by addition and subtraction, which are much easier to compute.

- in the past this was often performed with help of the slide RULE, an early form of a mechanical computer.

- with the spread of transistors and computers the Darwinian RULE of survival of the fittest started to kick in, and the sliding rule disappeared to the dustbin of history.

- and meanwhile the transistors and computers RULE the present...

Reflecting water ways, and silhouetted cross bucks fill a third of the photo, an SCFE east side empty cane train filling the other two thirds, gets up to speed with GP11 303. I thought he was heading for Moorehaven but when he turned south instead of north it was a beat feet and speed moment out of town to get a great sunset outside of town. The SCFE has a small number of load outs east of Clewiston compared somewhere around 15-20 loadouts on the USSC, so catching these guys going east took me by surprise but during cane season, the trains almost never stop.

For the Macro Mondays theme "Rule". Would the world be a better place if love rules?

"The rule sɑys thɑt if ɑ mɑn doesn't cɑll you, it's becɑuse he doesn't wɑnt to cɑll you. If he treɑts you like he give ɑ shit, it's becɑuse he gives ɑ shit ɑbout you. And if he betrɑys you, it's becɑuse he doesn't like you enough. There ɑre no scɑred, confused men or disillusioned. There ɑre no men trɑgicɑlly ɑffected by pɑst experiences, in need of time. Men ɑre divided into only two cɑtegories: those who love (you) ɑnd those who don't love (you). All the rest is ɑn excuse."
