We send New Year's cards called nengajo on New Year's Days in Japan.
We often draw the design of 干支(ETO)on nengajo.
ETO is Zodiac which was imported from Ancient China.
There are 12 animals,Each year has a symbolic animal.
The cycle is completed every twelfth year.
The order is : rat, bull, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, rooster, dog, boar.
This is the year of the horse.
My Day starts with one cat and five Snakes, I feed the cat he wakes me up by jumping all over me to get up and feed him. Then
change the waters in the Vivariums and then feed myself I now can look at my Flickr before going to my voluntary job at the foodbank in Oldham "My Daily Routine"
Shooting this was warm and frustrating but at the same time very fun. Mom helped me throwing coffee and getting the focus right.
I edited this for the first time ever on a laptop, which may decrease the quality of the edit a little, but I don't think it's too noticeable.

I took this months ago, but could have taken it just this morning. There are days when I really miss the everyday-something-new, adventurous me that travelled the world studying art, but when I pause to appreciate it, I can easily recognize the grace and beauty in the comfortable routine that my life has become.
