Route 185 is part of the Trans-Canada Highway. It travels from Saint-Antonin, Quebec to Edmundston, New Brunswick, a distance of about 100 km (62.1 mi). It connects Autoroute 85 and New Brunswick Route 2.

The southern section of the highway follows the valley of the Madawaska River.

At present, Route 185 is a 2-lane highway with passing lanes. Often cited as one of the most dangerous routes in all of Canada, it is slowly being upgraded to Autoroute standards and is eventually planned to be a 4-lane restricted-access freeway, which will be numbered as Autoroute 85. Several sections have been completed and opened as such. Once this upgrade is completed, it will close one of the last gaps in the nearly continuous freeway section of the Trans-Canada between Arnprior, Ontario, and New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, and for an even longer interprovincial freeway route between Windsor, Ontario and Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Route 185 has been or is being made 4 lanes through most towns along its route.

I hooked up one of my xBee boards to my Netgear wgt634u wireless router. At the moment, it can talk just fine to my terrorism threat level alerter, however I want to eventually use it as a more generalized ethernet to zigbee bridge.

Finished, clean, and ready to make a mess. This pic shows the new tabletop which looks exactly like the old table top (so why are you mentioning it Pete?).

Old Route 66 Motel in Stroud, Oklahoma. Stroud is exactly halfway between Tulsa and Oklahoma city. Stroud has several winerys and some cool old buildings. Stround was hit by a very powerful F3 tornado on May 3 1993. The outlet mall on the edge of town was totally destroyed and never rebuilt.

On the way to work.

This is Route 66. It runs through Albuquerque, NM. It is also known as Central Avenue. There is a very disruptive proposal to totally change the look of Central Avenue. Almost every single business up and down Central are protesting and do not want this to happen. It will destroy their business. One lady told me they want to do this to disrupt things, have business close then tear the buildings down and build new ones. This sort of thing has happened in other cities and to this day, many of the new buildings remain empty. So I'm saying no to this (ART) Albuquerque Rapid Transit proposal! I heard the Koch Brothers have their hand in this, it's disaster for the little guy!!!

Route 405 Eglinton and Islington area in Etobicoke Toronto

2012 is the 100th anniversary of bus route 38, and on Sunday 17th June Arriva marked the occasion by running three Routemasters from its Heritage Fleet as 'extras'. These were also joined by an RTL and RTW from the London Bus Company. No fares were charged on these buses, but passengers were invited to make a donation to Maggie's Cancer Charity. A vintage K-type bus dating from 1921 also traversed the route, carrying invited guests. As three of the 'New Bus 4 London' were also operating, the route attracted a lot of attention.

Shown here is the advert carried for Maggie's Cancer Charity - people are being invited to undertake a sponsored walk along the route of the 38 (it is 7.5 miles) to raise money for the charity.

The primary purpose of this project is to replace the bridge and necessary approaches on Route 711 (Tardy Mountain Road) bridge over Norfolk Southern Railroad.

The existing bridge is a single lane structure with reduced roadway width and an 8-ton weight restriction. The proposed bridge will be a two-lane truss bridges on the same alignment with slight improvements to the alignment toward Route 682 (Leesville Road). The proposed bridge will be approximately 184 feet long and 22 feet wide VDOT) (Photo by Trevor Wrayton,
