Not all of today's shots were first and last journeys. I'd left everything until the last minute and needed a few extra photos in some locations.
I aimed to get a shot of route 21, which was on its last day today, east of Dorking, where is runs through Brockham to Strood Green.
Here at Brockham Green is route 34/5-branded DAF SB120/Wright Cadet 3941 (GK51 YVF).
One of the most appreciated features of MVTS II is a
possibility to create a set of routing formulas for customers
with different service levels.
The formulas are used to sort the routing options in the
order of termination priority, and may use over 20 statistical
parameters, including cost, ASR, ACD, ABR, PDD, gateway
load, CPS, etc.
Route 1 uses some VWLs which are getting a bit long in the tooth now. One of the 52 reg contingent is VWL29, seen leaving the gloom of the Canada Water Bus Station terminus on 4/2/15. The buses on this route seem to have very dirty blinds....

Route 148 is a major east-west highway in Quebec, Canada. It runs from Autoroute 25 in Laval in the Montreal region to the Ontario-Quebec border in L'Isle-aux-Allumettes in western Quebec. Sunday 26th July 2015 was the day of the first Route 90 VW show at Lathalmond bus garage. As an event it shows lots of promise so good luck to the organizers for the future.
Gemini B9, number 935 (new in 2009) operates Service 23 at the foot of Dundas Street and note the magnificent red intermediate screen indicating Route Diverted.
It's great to see so many buses this week wth this section of the roller blind selected, and of course in winter the red stands out beautifully. Edinburgh loves roller blind destination screens and long may this tradition continue - so much nicer than electronic, neon LED screens I feel.
I have to say though, looking at this picture again, it's a bit depressing to say the least!
