Tam, my daughter, is a genius at finding treasures. This huge clock face was put out with the trash nearby recently. Im sure it used to go round and round. Very low light conditions, so apologies for lack of clarity.

I'm done with marbles for awhile! I'm starting another 365 Project on January 1st, so hopefully that gets me outdoors and shooting other more interesting objects and surroundings!

This upload is dedicated to the U.S. Steel Tower at 600 Grant Street, Pittsburgh.
When built this 64-storey office tower served as the headquarters of U.S. Steel Corp. The building has a bit of a brutal feel to it -- not the typical concrete brutalism but some sort of rusty steel brutalism. Depending on the weather and lighting, the steel façade appears dark charcoal, grey, rusty reddish brown.
1. A quick survey of the crowd shows there's at least one Paloux preoccupied with work rather than his current date.
2. Henri Paloux also grew bored quickly once he discovered no Poppys had signed up for his age range.
3. Elizabeth meets with the third Paloux, cousin Rupert, who is also in the anxiety group.
Elizabeth, always up for conspiracy theories, later told sister Emily: "He was....twitchy. I don't think he's socially anxious...He's hiding something."
4. Jesse Romero finally found someone interested in the same kind of music--problematically, Lilith quickly became so engrossed reading the magazines that Jesse brought that she forgot about him being there!

This plant is again endemic to the mountain areas of central and southern Europe.
It prefers valleys and moist ground, so the plant does not have the usual Saxifraga succulent look.
One of my favorites with the yellow, pink and purple dots on the small white petals.

A robbed out round cairn on Curbar Edge, the stones in the foreground are the remains of a cist. The views from here are extensive, to Baslow Edge and the Eagle Stone to the south, and over Stoke Flat to Over Owler Tor, Mother Cap, Higger Tor, Stanage Edge, Banford Edge and Win Hill to the north.
There are numerous cairns in this area. Stoke Flat to the north has a stone circle and cairnfield, to the south is the Eagle Stone cemetery and Gardom’s Edge Neolithic enclosure and to the east is Big Moor, that includes the Barbrook circles and cairns, as well as Swine Sty field systems.
When this cairn was excavated (or more accurately destroyed) in 1913, by the Duke of Rutland, the cist was found to contain the remains of a cremation, a broken food vessel, a flint scraper and a broken bronze knife.
