Went out with Rob Gustafson and his girlfriend Katie to see the January Gallery night in Milwaukee's historic 3rd Ward. Tons of fun, Avery and Lisa came with. Next time maybe Avery will stay with a sitter. While she loved it, and we all were fine with her there I felt like I would have liked to stay and see more and hang out with the galleries a bit more.

I ended up going back the next day to see more, which was awesome. I ran into Tim Holte and he showed me the ropes a bit, I got to rub elbows with some of the local art community folks Tim knows which was a great time for me.

I have to say that this whole gallery night thing is very cool. My hats off to Laci Coppins showing at the Rustico Pizzeria and Tim Holte showing at Soups On, the 2 best galleries we saw that night.

We bought some 10 patty burgers at A&W (that's a Grandpa burger with 7 extra patties). Here you can see the staff have brought out the whole ketchup pump to give us a hand.

When we went I think most of the staff thought we were crazy. I saw one girl in the back phone here friend on her cellphone to tell her about "these four crazy guys who just ordered burgers with 10patties each."

It’s a root beer cupcake!!! We made the cake using Iron Fist Dubbel Fisted and added some tasty root beer spices. Next we filled it with the Jim Beam vanilla bean frosting from the KS 22nd Anniversary cupcake and topped it all off with a root beer meringue frosting. Not to be confused with merengue... yeah, I had to spell check that one.
