Sadly, my favorite Myers Avenue Red is not currently in production as their bottler is no longer in business. Until they get themselves back in line I have been trying out some other brands. This one is brewed with anise, licorice, vanilla, cinnamon, clove, wintergreen, sweet birch, molasses, and nutmeg. This makes for a very rich and creamy root beer.
All the varnish is now removed from all 8 bands. The top has been painted with the first coat ....one more coat of paint to go!! I should get a tap for the front this week and the logo on the front. Hope to have it on display in the next week or so......

After hiking an hour to my viewpoint lunch spot on Timothy Lake, my Henry Weinhard root beer wasn't cold anymore, but it still tasted pretty yummy. It was a pretty warm day.
I couldn't resist picking up a bottle of Virgil's Special Edition Bavarian Nutmeg Root Beer in a fancy Grolsch-style bottle.

The Ford Focus is awkward, at best, as a conveyance to a drive-in restaurant. The windows slope forward in a way that makes the tray hang precariously from the side. The electric windows require turning on the car to get them up and down.
