Mickey Mouse is big on Main Street USA this time of year...and orange!
There was a time when shooting Main Street after hours was easy...you just had to wait for everyone to leave or at least move around and out of your frame.
The other night, everyone walking out between midnight and 1 AM stopped here, right in front of the big Mic and just stood around...and stood around. So I did too waiting for my clear shot until the planter sprinklers came on and soaked my foot thoroughly...
At which point I snapped my primary shots and a few extra for masking out the herd of idle bystanders...
Satisfyingly, I know I am in someone else's photos standing around waiting for the people standing around to leave...
Sorry

I love and respect TV too much to harm or destroy any TV, so I did not throw this brick through this old TV. Some kids must have had fun doing this, as the TV is placed on top of an old stable.
What do you think?
since this is a manual lens, I have no idea what the aperture and focal point are :)

horizontal flip for aesthetic reasons.
Taken with Fujifilm X-M1 and Samyang / Rokinon / Walimex 12mm on very small tripod. the place was worth the climb to get there.
One word about the manual focus: i try to stay at f8 so i simply put the manual focus a little bit further than 1m. The hyper focal distance then covers nearly everything.
I tried dropping the sky in from another image because the sky was white and it was raining today here in Dublin... a little more practice and it should get easier and quicker.
Don't zoom in or you will see my wee mistakes!!! lol
Not long after sunset bright right red Aurora became quickly visible. Soon the sky was filled with color. Really incredible display.

anyways, i just got my new lens in the mail today. Its a rokinon 8mm fisheye. I orginally got it for shooting skateboarding, but i think it will prove most versatile.

i know this idea has been done before, but i wanted to try it out because of my new lens
