After watching Rogue One, I felt like I needed to build something from the movie. This build is not an exact replica, but is inspired by the Jedha Ambush where the extremist rebels attack the Imperial Stormtroopers. After two days of building with a couple of friends, this is what we came up with. Hope you enjoy!

An interesting note about my build is that it is about 8 studs too short. This does not particularly bother me, As it feels right, but the problem would exist in the size of the pill - I checked it with some top views and the wings are proportionally correct, but the pill might be too large, or rather, the wings too small.

Whilst Jyn, Cassian, and K-2SO infiltrate the citadel, the remaining members of Rogue One sneak around the various landing pads on Scarif and plant explosives. Their goal is to create the biggest distraction possible.

Picked up the Walmart exclusive Black Series 3.75" Cassian Andor on eBay.
It's a very cool figure, though the paintwork on the face is a little slapdash and could probably do with fixing.

The cantina are crowded by gangsters, pilots and pirates. The Imperial fleet lost an archived file while they were heading South of the Mos Eisley. Before this happened, there were three guys who made a detour for the sand troopers, and punched them without a warning. The other guy was his way to the trooper's bag and stole a disk that holds Imperial's future plans for the galaxy..

As they reached the Cantina, the three men hid inside and pretend they are just normal customers. The troopers then tracked them down here inside the Cantina, slowly but surely, they are inspecting everyone inside. The file may bring an opportunity for the Rebellion.
So this is how I estimated the scale of this thing before "Twin Suns" gave me a solid go ahead. This is meant to be, as much as possible, a replica of the shot from Rogue One. I found some clip online, paused it, and worked backwards to get the size of the Corvette.
And yeah, that's a Star Destroyer. This summer I'll try to finish it. It's almost 100% rebuilt from my last attempt.
I’ve managed to collect all of the Ghost crew but have been struggling to display them. In the end the amazing 75312 Slave 1 inspired me to try midi-scale and I managed to put this together! She’s 27cm long, 21cm wide, weighs in at 695g and the parts cost is around £85. She’ll holds all six crew (although they’re all sitting and lying down) and I managed to get a sturdy little stand right under the centre of gravity. I’ve also made tiny Phantoms 1 & 2 that can hold Chopper.

My local Super Target did a Hasbro Star Wars Toys isle reset this week. I hope they realize updating to 12 pegs of 2015 "Force Awakens" and Wave 2 of 2016 "Rogue One" figures won't get anyone to buy these again at full price. Hey Hasbro and Target, where's the 2017 toys?
